recommendedlocksmith.com Recommended Locksmith Warning Dangerous Scam Dishonest Tewksbury , Massachusetts
20th of Dec, 2011 by User979514
My wife, 2 year old son, and I got locked out of our car at a Wal-Mart store in Tewksbury MA. We googled for a company that could come and unlock our car for us and recommendedlocksmith.com was one of the premium ads listed at the top of the results, so we gave them a call. We spoke with the dispatcher who told us that a technician would call us back shortly. Sure enough, we got a call from the technician a few minutes after hanging up with the dispatcher. The technician told us that he would be at our location in 20 minutes. After almost an hour of waiting, I gave the technician a call back on the number that he contacted me with. The was no answer so I left a voicemail for him. I also called the dispatcher's number again and the dispatcher said that he would contact the driver and call me back. After approximately 45 more minutes of waiting, I gave up on them and called another company. Approximately 5 minutes later, the recommendedlocksmith.com technician called my phone and told me that he was in the parking lot. I told him that since he had left us waiting for almost two hours when he said it would only be 20 minutes, I contacted another company and he had lost our business. He proceeded to tell me that we still owed him $15 for showing up. I told him that he could forget about it and that he was not getting any money from me for such terrible service. About 10 minutes later, the technician from the second company showed up. I went outside to my truck and saw a freshly cut knife puncture in the side of my tire. I did not see the person who did it, but I hardly think it was a coincidence. I called the police and filed a report. The police officer also contacted recommended locksmith and they told him that they did not have the information of the guy that they sent to help me. I called them back the next day and they told me that they would not release that information to me and that I would have to file a report and ask the police to get it. I told them that I had and that they told the police officer that they didn't have that information and asked them why they didn't give it to him. This company is far from honest, professional, or reliable. They obviously do not screen their locksmiths and if you decide to use them, the technician they dispatch could be dangerous. I do not have to tell you how unprofessional that is, and waiting 2 hours for what was supposed to only be 20 minutes is far from reliable. Add on top of that the fact that the company would not release the information of the person they dispatched to me and lied to the police office and told him that they do not have that info (or to me when they told me that the police would have to call to get that info) and they are definitely not honest. I will never contact this company again and I do not recommend that anyone else do either. In fact, I will do my best to warn everyone that I can of the potential dangers when using this company. The police are investigating this incident and hopefully they will find some video evidence of the guy that did it.
