June 11, 2011: We received a call from a company identifying themselves as: Midwest Publishers Home Office. The person calling identified himself as Jason and stated that this is the company that has been sending us magazines. We asked for the name of the magazines, but he said he couldnt release that information to us. We asked for the companys telephone number and address. He stated that it was against that companys policy to release that information. We told him that we believed he was committing fraud. He then put his supervisor on the line. When we demanded to know the telephone number and address of the company, she insisted that we had no right to know that information and that its against company policy to give out that information. When we asked again, she gave us this telephone number: 1-800-725-1729. We demanded that they put us on their do not call list, to which she agreed. When we demanded to know if they are sending us any magazines, she hung up immediately. The 1-800-725-1729 number belongs to Reader's Source. Please help to go after these guys and stop their abuse.
