Rambha Day
Rambha Day Spa and Salon Rambha Singh Cheat, Liar, Desceptive, Dirty, Unclean, Bad Business Practices Chandler, Arizona
20th of Aug, 2011 by User298512
Hired to paint a logo fully agreed and matched the email I received to the wall in their front entrance. The husband approved the painted outline prior to my beginning the project as well. Then later was not around to pay me at all. Upon completion, the woman(his wife) tried not to pay at all. Then said she could or would only pay part. Then said if I would come back and do more she would consider paying me after all. Only after I pointed out that she gets paid after her spa services immediately that I should be treated in the same manner, that she did pay me in part. It also helped that she had a customer walk in and did not want to look bad in front of the public.
I would not work for these people again unless you get paid upfront. They agree to every thing and okayed it all then changed their mind and tried to short you or cheat you.
While I was there however, I did use the bathroom and was glad that I was not using their actual service. The bathroom was filthy. This was suppose to be a health spa, so I would have expected a bit more.

She talks about email where our discussion started.Actual work was discussed at salon which included logo with punch line "Redifing beauty ritual".You can find this punch line every where at our website www.rambhadayspa.com.So she arrived, projected the logo picture on wall and discussed about punch line. She asked $100.00 and we agreed. She painted the logo in hurry as she needed to go to pick up her daughter and could not paint punch line. She told us to come back next tuesday to paint the punch line clearly with deception and all the other words she used for us in her complaint as was evident the moment we paid only $80.00(not intentionaly as we had only $80 in our cash drawer). We never intended not to pay her as we could have refused to pay untill she finished the punch line.Right? We paid her $80.00 thinking she will come back to paint. She left and we still thought she is coming back next tuesday.SAME DAY SHE EMAILED US demanding the $20.00 and we responded finish the painting.Next response was she is going to post this on internet and asked if $20.00 is worth a bad name on internate for our business. We said go ahead and post on internet as we did nothing wrong and its against any moral ethics to budge against someone literally blackmailing us.
Rambha Day Spa & Salon just opened last sunday and in 3 days our restrooms became filthy?? Interesting. Also we gave away $ 5 gift certificates to all clients who are visiting us now and have spent more than 2k already. Why in the world we will try not to pay someone $ 20.00????And look at her langauge..,
My advise..never hire somene from craiglist without reference and without written agreement. We were in hurry to paint a logo to make our reception area look further good and attractive and this lady messed up completely and not complaining on internet...

I was just in Rambha's Day Spa & Salon last week when it opened and had a great experience here. I've been passing by it the past few months waiting for it to open and I have to say I was not disappointed! I was there the day the painting was taking place and was told by the painter not to stand close because it was drying. I was paying for my service and overheard the entire conversation and I can honestly say that Rambha did not ever refuse to pay her. She told the painter that she'd like her to come back next week to finish the painting and that she would then give her the remaining $20.00. Sounds fair to me. The painter agreed to come back, and then left, so I don't understand what the problem is. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Rambha Salon & Day Spa and think it's a gorgeous building and I could not find one flaw within it. I know I will be returning for other services.

First and foremost, as an independent contractor, you should be aware that generally, you receive 50% up front to cover expenditures to complete the project, and 50% upon completion. I am a contractor, working for them also, and I love them both. The spa is gorgeous, and immaculate. Mr. Singh does not hang out around the salon, he has a full time job. They are VERY giving people, and deserve the same respect.
