This company never discloses that you are being charged $60 without ever bidding or in fact ever entering the site. You can't sign up "for free" as I've seen reported. There is a $60 charge on my Am Ex card that I was never made aware of. The home page never mentions the charge. In fact the home page says (in the How it Works section). That bids are 60 cents each. It DOES NOT say that upon registering you are buying 100 bids for $60. I know the response will be "read the fine print". But to even get to the fine print you need to start the registration process which includes specifying a credit card to charge. Quibids hides the real fee and you spend $60 before even finding out what the site is about, you get no chance to change your mind after seeing how it works. That's deceptive. I've contacted American Express to fight the charge. Don't sign up, you'll regret it.
