After bidding on 2 items, canceling one for $6.00 I won another bid. Decided that this was foolish bidding against the whole world and at .60cents a bid can get expensive. You think that this is an AUCTION like any other, wrong. It just keeps going on and on as every time it hits 1second and someone bids thinking it is almost over the time starts all over again. That can go on all night. So I emailed and opted out. They immediately sent verification of my opting out and the same email showed they canceled the order for the printer I had won the bid on.(My second item) I received the $6.00 rebate on my debit card but the $16.38 for the printer they kept telling me as I had opted out a day after winning I would have to ask for a return form. They said I had not asked for a cancellation. True, they canceled it. They said the vendor had it in "transit" . After one day I doubt it. First they cancel it then say it is in transit. According to their conditions one had 21 days to solve issues. Now all I have to do is wait for an item that they cancelled, and they say is in transit, that they have said in an email I can request to return this item I do not have. I am sure they can drag this out beyond the 21 days. They have never admitted to canceling it but they have my emails from the day after winning it asking for a refund and reaffirming my opting out. They say in their conditions the winner is allowed to cancel or return an order. That this right is Unconditional and begins from the moment the contract is concluded. That the purchase price will be refunded. It also says you have cancellation rights for only 21 days. When is someone going to do something about these guys. Their ad says in large letters they are endorsed by the Better Business Bureau. How does this happen???? |
