Power Chryler Jeep Dodge Reneged on promise from salesperson to purchase leased vehicle phoenix, Arizona

Salesperson @ this dealership on 3 occasions (most recently as 2 mos before 3rd yr of lease was to begin) made a deal (handshake) to purchase vehicle when I was ready to return to dealership b4 the lease was up. I've contacted the BBB to no avail. Dealer said this was a personal matter. salesperson said he'd have to check w/his wife and then later he told me he bought another jeep from someone else as a favor. in any case the dealer wouldn't take back car unless i paid about 4k. i told them the salesperson represented them as well even though he made a personal deal. i could've had 2 mos at least of looking for someone to take over the payments. the way he sold me the car was that he definitely promised to take over payments for the last year. this has put me in a terrible position financially. the car's lease isn't up until 9/15/2011. I've been a loyal customer with 4 cars from this dealership (incl. the Jeep) and it made absolutely no difference to them. I will never recommend (as I have in the past) their dealership or service department both of which had been outstanding up to this point.
