This November my family was approached at a local Kroger supermarket for a photo opportunity. The package was $10 with a $6sitting fee. We decided to go along with it since it was an inexpensive package. We did the photo shoot, and went to pick of the photos a week later.
I went to pick up the photos and was told as I walked in that the packages were all 50% off. He then showed us the photograph and told us the price for everything was on sale for $500. I of course said no. He then preceded to talk down the price to $400 then to $300. I told him I would just take the $16 package we paid for and was about to leave when he told us he could give the pictures to me for $150. He seemed to be getting anxious to sell the pictures so I reluctantly agreed and split up the payments so $75 would go directly off my credit card and the other $75 off of my bank card to be post dated.
Well the $75 went off my credit card, and two weeks after the $75 was supposed to be taken out of my bank it finally cleared. Now a week after that another $75 is showing up as being taken out of my bank account. I am getting very upset that these people have my account numbers. The first charged was cleared and the second one should never have been entered. I have tried to call them and have not recieved any phone call back.
The pictures were okay, nothing I would pay $166 for when I could get pictures done at any local studio for half the price. I don't mind paying for what I recieved, but they were not authorized to charge my account anytime they felt like it.

The funny thing is the manager that said to call you if from a phone number in arizona where i am from and were i had problems. I needed pictures right away for her school and they said they could give me a print right away. The first person who told me this sold me the 10 package to get me in the appoinment. When I got to the appoinment The person who checked us in said we could have a proof. When I asked the photographer after the pictures he looked at me crazy and said they do not give proofs. They lady who said they did just looked like she had never heard me ask the question that she said yes to 5 minutes before.
They gave us a date and time to pick them up and I tried to rescedule and they said after that day they would recycle the pictures were payed for. I finally came in and there were two people in front of me so they could not give me my pictures that they had sitting there. I left not getting what I payed for. Later they sent me a text to come get the pictures the next day since I missed my appoinment. They told me I could not come on this day before.
I came the next day and the tried to sell me all the pictures for 550. After I said no afew times they were going to give me all the pictures they had printed off for 100. I wanted just the pictures I payed for. It was just 2 sheets that they could have given me the first time I was there the day before. Then they did not even have a bag to put the pictures in. I have been to a few picture studios in Arizona and this is the most expensive and worste place i have ever been too. I the BBB this company got an F. |
