Distributors, franchisees, consumers beware of this company. I connected with them earlier this year and they sent me a packet of information filled with alot of feel good marketing for dog owners along with an agreement for me to sign to become a distributor for their products and a FedX envelope for me to return it in along with my check. I had a brief conversation on the phone with Bob Lambert who represents the company to potential distributors. I had an attorney review the agreement and me and my attorney came up with a list of questions that I should get the answers to before sending them a check and a signed agreement. I sent them the list of questions through their email system and have left several voice mail messages for Bob Lambert - but to date I have not gotten any response. Along with some questions about the distribution relationship, I wanted some additional science behind the product. I do not want to sell product to consumers without being able to stand behind it with scientific facts. To date I have not gotten any answers. I would encourage any one looking at a potential relationship with these people to be very careful. |

Not sure if this person is for real, but assuming that he is, did he ever consider that he was just asking
the wrong questions. Perhaps he should refer to another site and a very successful Pet Corner
Distributor, who goes into some detail as to why he chose to become a PCI distributor and why he is
successful distributor. Perhaps he was someone who just asked the right questions. |

Jeff,
I bought a dealership from Bob lambert. you sound like the company, You talk about M lucas the succesfull dealer, But you dont tell us how to reach him. I have asked Ted, for other dealers to speak with. He gives me two, One is James Crishom. The other is Norm. Norm Is out of Norfork James is out of seatle. They never return calls If this dealership is so succesfull why arent there any in the New York area ? I was the only one and now I know why. I would like to talk to lucas. Maybe I am doing someting wrong. The company is not transparent at all. Who has a business today without a website. They are cagey people and not forthcoming.

Jeff Kingman tells you to about a succesfull distributer but does not tell you what site to go to. He is just like the company very evasive. Who is this distributer ? Where can we locate him ? He goes by the name M lucas. You would think if he does so well he would inspire other dealers to do well. My bet is they dont even exist if they did we would have access to them. What is Bob Lambert the owner the company hiding ? They just tell you what you want to hear. They say they have dealers across the country try to ask for the names of 10 dealers with phone numbers you will not get them. The answer is they are to busy and do not want to talk to anyone. Have you heard of such a lame answer ?
The displays they send you are terrible. The bottles do not stand up by themselves. They tilt so much the consumer can not read the second shelf. What they don't tell you is that the profit margin is not even close to what pet stores work on. Excluding pet food pet stores work on 50 to 60 % margins. Pet Corner gives them between 28 to 30%. Even on consignment pet stores are not interested. |

With Pet corner International make sure you get at least 10 to 15 dealers to speak with. After all they have dealers internationally. So you are not asking to much. Also ask them what the margins pet stores work on. They will tell you the owners will take the display because they are not paying for the inventory. I had an owner tell me even at that the 30 % was not worth it. All the toys for the pets and clothes are marked up 50 to 60 % Oh yes you can get the displays out there for sure but they said you would sell 2 bottles a day. You are lucky to sell 5 bottles a month at 19.95. I found one dealer they told me to speak with, I offered my whole inventory for 50% off. If he was doing so well he would have jumped on it. I never heard from him. |
