This company was advertised on several discount sites including DealFind in which I purchased their home repair services. I believe Perimeter Home Services is a scam and companies should not use them nor advertise them. I could NOT find a Georgia business license for them and DealFind have refunded my money for 2 certificates I brought from them. They are no shows! They schedule your repairs more than a month later then don't show up and customers are not covered by the 30 day money back protection period by DealFind. Please investigate. They don't even have a physical address and just recently got a website. RED FLAG!!!! This is the email I sent to Dealfind:
Dear Dealfind:
I am emailing you as a follow-up to my phone call on August 20, 2011 around 10:48 am. This call was concerning voucher #8*******and voucher ##5******* (both by Perimeter Handyman Services which I purchased July **, 2011. Service was scheduled for August **, 2011 because that was the first available date for service. I called the company at 8am to remind them of the 9 am appointment today. I was told it would be closer to 9:30 am. When I have not seen or heard the company by 10:25 am, I called them back and left a message. I told them it was my birthday and I had plans put on hold because I was waiting to hear from them. I also stated that if they needed to reschedule, it was fine but please let me know. The company's number appeared to be a cell phone number with a message that calls will be returned within 30 minutes. I did not receive any calls from them up to the time of this email. I was even more shocked to learn as I checked online for Georgia business licenses for Perimeter Handyman Services and I did not see a business license on file for them nor were they listed in the BBB for the state of Georgia. Please issue me a full refund, not a credit with Dealfind. I do not blame your company for Perimeter Handyman's lack of service. However, I am extremely disappointed and ask that you double check the companies advertised on your sites are legitimate and licensed businesses for your own reputation and legal protection.

| I had the exact thing happen and Dealfind won't refund me. Perimeter Home Services is nothing more than some kids from the ghetto with a few cell phones. They are running a scam on all of the "deal" services and I lost $88 because of it. |

It also happened to me. I bought two vouchers from Deal Find but when I called the number to schedule service, I got a recording from Verizon saying the number had been either changed, disconnected, or was no longer in service. I've written an email to Deal Find asking for their help in contacting Perimeter Handyman and, if they can't, I've asked for a refund of the $93 I paid.
This is so frustrating. I had several similar instances with SaveMore where I bought various vouchers and was not able to redeem a single one! So far, I haven't been let down by Groupon or Living Social. |
