we were emailed by jaryd deece answering an ad on craigslist where we were seeking kids toys (airsoft guns, ect) as he was offering to sell my 12 yr old son a highend 300.00 airsoft rifle that he got when he was a kid thats still new in the box that he never used. he sounded like a well together kid cause he had his own business called the band room in marianna florida and was wheeling and dealing on the internet, buying guns and other high end toys, boats, 6 wheel amphi buggy, ect. after googling his name and business and found nothing bad on the net, we immediatly sent a deposit. shouldve known something was up when we were headed his way to marianna fl to pick up the gun, he said he wasnt home and was headed out of town as we were headed to florida (a 8 hour round trip drive planned for days in advance) so we paid for ups shipping by postal money order as well as the gun final payment (a total of 135.00). it wasnt mailed for days after he got the funds, cant find a box issues, ect but when ups finally delived the box the gun was so poorly boxed that it was busted into pieces. no padding, no styro foam, no bubble wrap, just a small cardboard box. the barrel's set screw was stripped out so it wouldnt have worked even if the packing was right. the gun is total junk. can you imagine the feelings of a 12 yr old boy who got the pile of junk parts?? anyway, it took a bunch of emails to get him to answer and he said he would fix the problem but 2 weeks later still dodging emails. i offered to allow him to just pay for the broken parts and id fix the gun myself = no answer from jaryd the thief, and today after me getting pissed he told me to enjoy the gun, boss. he has threatened to bring his marine buddies to columbus ga and is generally just a scam hood rat. I offer condolences to any one else he's ripped off and want to alert anyone else out there that he's NOT a trustworthy seller and if he'd scam a 12 yr old, he'll steal from anyone.
