| I called Patrick Carpenter from a listing on Craigs List Dallas. I needed some electrical work done. He is very good at what he does, which is : Scamming, Ripping you off, Lying, Cheating, Robbing. He came in my home, gave me an estimate, then asked for up-front money, which he said he needed to buy equipment and supplies. I normally would have never agreed to this, but I had extenuating circumstances. I gave him a check for $200,which he promptly cashed, and he NEVER came back. I have phoned him multiple times, he answered a couple of times, always giving me some type of vague response: yeah, ok let's see what I can do. Most of the time all I got was his voice mail. Right now it is 26 hours since he was here, and no sign of him. It was pure, unadulerated ROBBERY. I have learned that he did the exact same thing to a mutual friend who lives in Duncanville. I have filed a report with the Dallas Police Dept. Forgery Division, and I have his license plate number. |

| We recently got ripped off by Patrick Carpenter too. I don't suppose you might have his actual address or would care to share his license plate number? We are going to prosecute thru the district attorney and I need all the info I can get. He took his website down today, but luckily I printed up his picture and info before hand. :-) This guy is as crooked as they come. |

| Yes, Kirupa, it's true. He is a complete scam artist. There is a yahoo group that can provide you with more information and a picture of him and all of that. it's called CarpenterVictims. Are you from Tarrant county by chance? I need a couple of more Tarrant County victims to step forward so that the DA can take the case against him. |

| He is a scam artist. He started my job and left everything in a complete mess. Of course he took the money, cashed the checks and kept asking for more. I had to hire another contractor to fix the disaster that was left of my yard. He did terrible work. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, however he has not responded. I'm planning on filing a civil suit as well as with the Attorney General. His phone number is now disconnected. This guy needs to be in jail. |

I hired these guys to repair my fence and fix my sprinklers. They were wonderful.
They did not want any money up front, and only charged me 80$ for all there help. I am a disabled WW-2 veteran and it is difficult to do things around my house. I am also a retired dallas police officer, and member of the dallas police and fire association.
These boys helped me with lots of things I have needed doing for a long time for free. Im very glad I ran into them, you will be too.
I also think it is highly inappropriate to behave in this manner. I was a police officer for over 30 years, It is illegal to post personal information without there permission. Patrick is my friend and these posts are lies. |

We had a terrible storm in our neighborhood which left a lot of fences damaged. I heard about Pat from a neigbor of mine, he had repaired there fence as well.
I called him and he came right over. He gave me a quote of only 50$, no money up front. He came the next day and installed a steal post with supports and rebuilt several parts of my fence for free. I ended up paying 72$ as the quote was just for labor, but he explained that at the beginning. These guys are good people. |

These people posting this false information about Carpenter Construction are totally wrong.
I hired Pat after reading these reviews. Pat leveled my sidewalk, and my yard. He also built an amazing stone flowerbed border with real stone not that chalk rock crap. I have done masonry work before and I can tell you these guys are really stand up guys.
There range of abilities is amazing, not only were they able to repair all my masonry needs but they welded my back iron gate together, pached my back sidewalk, and painted my rusty patio furniture for FREE!! My wife loved it!! |

A friend of mine that ownes a VERY respectful contracting company has gone to many places that Patrick has been to either fix, repair or for that matter even start the job. My friend then told me that 2 weeks ago he heard Patrick's name at 3 differint places in one week. How one client said to him that the job that was preformed By Patrick "looked like crap" and need to be fixed.
Apparently after looking further into this guy he is a true scam artist. I would NOT even recommend him to even paint a scrap piece of wood that I would thow in the dump!
PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED! I have a very stong feeling that all of these so called good comments listed above about Patrick are a big load of crap! I would not put it past this joker that it is ALL apart of his little scam!
Patrick if you are reading this and I hope that you do I want you to know that what you are doing is wrong! I dont see how you sleep at night. Oh on the bright side my friends company is doing really well maybe its because he stays busy cleaning up your mess! |

Ok so I did some more digging on this creep and found his web site it is carpenterconstruction.org after looking at it I noticed that he is advertising that he does Electrical work, Plumbing work and HVAC work. I know that ( From what I do for a living ) you CAN NOT by Texas State Law advertise ANY of the above trades with out posting your License number. I am willing to bet he does not have them.
If you do have them Patrick please post them and prove me wrong. Please keep in mind I will check them to see if they are legal. If they are than great.
Also I found that if you google Patrick Andrew Carpenter in Mckinney, Tx there is several more complaints on him. |

| I hired Patrick to build a board on board cedar fence in my back yard. Well he said he could have it someone a week. Stupid me I gave him over 5, 000.00 and I got a fence that was not built as I paid for. It was cheap pine all in even. The hate would not close boards are popping off daily. It us really horrible looking. The fence had long nails poking thru it everywhere and its falling down. When I had enough of him and fired him I told him to get his stuff and get out of my yard. He was refusing and told me I was going to jail for theft of service.. what a joke. I liked to have never hot this idiot off my property. he pulled his truck into my yard broke my under ground sprinkler system and that was another cost to me. The post on Herr about his good job was posted by him. You may come see what he done with you own eyes. My address is 7213 Tallowtree Dr. Rowlett, Texas. And yes that is his patents posted above. If you ate anyone has a good address on him I would love to have it. I want to proscute thus man in the worse way. From what I have found so far his address is 9901 Pierce Drive Mckinney, Tx 75070. I'm not 100% on this however I would say that the more I look this seems to be where he is staying. |
