PARS CARS
PARS CARS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT Riverdale, Georgia
23rd of Mar, 2011 by User660126
On February 27, 2011, my 22 year old daughter went to Pars Cars to purchase a vehicle. She was there alone with her 2 year old child and had been for 6-7 hours before they showed her a vehicle. They asked for $2000 down (they never sell cars for $500 down). She thought she was stranded and signed the folloowing deal: 2006 PT Cruiser: Appr. $15,000
Downpayment: $2000
APR: 24.99% Later we heard this radio advertisement said: "14.9% or LESS, $500 Down, Your Job is Your Credit, Everybody Rides" Book Value 2011: 2006 PT Cruiser (Basic) Approximately: $9,390 Overcharged by $5,610, 10.0%,and $1500 Downpayment. I have reported them to the Governors Office of Consumer Affairs for FAlse advertisement, and Clayton County Legal Aid. I highly recommend that EVERYONE research your vehicle before you sign anything with these people. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO WALK AWAY FROM THE DEAL.
