Janeen Landram and her son Vincent Landram should never be in a business nevertheless in the business of working and caring for horses. Neither one of them have any experience what so ever and constantly make the wrong choices when it comes to the "QUALITY" care your horse should have in their opinion. Not to mention that Janeen is always moody and her son is just RUDE! Neither one of them will say hello to you but you are relying on them to take good quality care of your horses! They feed only 2 flakes (small) a DAY to a HORSE! You have to purchase hundreds of dollars of supplements and feeds to make up for the lack of hay your horse is receiving. Your horse may receive water most of the time but if they pee too much they are CUT back on their water!!!! Yes, I did say that and yes it does cause major health issues including death and now that we are heading into the Vegas summers which means temps well above 100++ and for Janeen and her son to have this mentality is horrendous but you can not give them any directions on how to take care of YOUR horse because Janeen and her knowitall son, Vincent will defy you and mistreat your horse by not watering, feeding or cleaning their stalls. When they clean the stalls the manure is dumbed in the aisle ways, over the rails, in the arena, outside the barn in many different locations including infront of the barns. Arena rails are falling in and horses are getting hurt on them. She uses baling twine, wire and caution cones and yes wait, duck tape to fix broken rails. Horses kick in the stall walls and she doesn't replace or repair them. She complains to the owners and has them fix them. She has a "burn basket" where she puts wood pieces in and starts the fire right by hay and horses!!!! Janeen has no clue about horses or their care. She so much put the whole barn of boarders in high risk when there was a horse who came in from out of state with strangles (highly contagious) and when a LICENCED NV VET said to quarantine these horses and any and ALL horses that came into contact with the infected horse for at least 3 weeks, Janeen REMOVED the quarantine after FOUR (yes I said 4) DAYS and was giving these horses full access of the facilties to roam about the healthy horses! When confronted about this disease to Janeen, she has and still has no clue as to what it is or the effects. Pair A Dice Stables is NOT a licenced facility and if you value your horses, DON'T BOARD WITH HER or Pair a Dice Stables! Bedding is not supplied so you spend all the extra money (usually around $80+) for bedding then for Janeen to pull your horse out of that nice comfy stall to a poop filled (in her opinion is "cushion") wet stall while she puts HER horses in your newly furnished well bedded stall! She claims to do turn outs for your horse but in reality she puts your horse in a make shift stall that is against the outside barn (appx 16x16) which has no room for a horse to stretch out. If you do the right thing and give Janeen Landram notice about vacating the premises, she stops feeding your horse (about 1 flake a day) no water or cleaning their stall! I have to add that with the outbreak of the EHV-1 while every other stable in the valley is not accepting new boarders, Janeen Landram DBA Pair A Dice stables is! Not only is she accepting new boarders but she puts them in the main barn without quarantine! Janeen is constantly writing on her dry erase board that boarders need to check their supplies. That is because Janeen is using your supplies for her own horses!!! How can a person go through 50 lbs of grain in two days???? Again Janeen is new to the horse world and has no clue how to operate a horse facilty. She's only been around horses in the last year or two and does not take the time to learn except how to run her barrels and claim she is the BARN OWNER (she rents)! Janeen has told numerous boarders where and when they can ride their horses and HOW to ride their horses! If you like to be micromanaged and your horses starved then this is the barn for you and your horse! |

Janeen lies consistently about everything. It's never her fault or her son's fault for not feeding or watering your horses. She turns the blame onto the owners!
Janeen helps herself to your tack, feed or whatever else she may think of that she needs because she doesn't have the money to purchase these items for herself.
She placed a broom in front of a horses stall and the horse got a hold of the broom and broke it. Janeen takes a picture of it to send the owner and then removes the broom and places it in front of the horses stall door on the floor! Then she tells the owner to replace the broom that their horse broke!!! (she forgets that it was JANEEN who left the broom in front of the horses stall to begin with!) And that Janeen tells the owner that she doesn't have the money to replace this broom!
She advertises barrels, poles, team penning practice and obstacle courses but unfortunately Janeen does not know any of these events and does NOT have the authorization to use these promotions for her barn that she rents.
Janeen announces that "you need to cowgirl up" and pee in a empty stall or around a rock! Unfortunately she is in violation of Clark County Code and needs a restroom for her patrons.
She is also in violation with all the manure dumped all over the facility and wait, JANEEN, AKA PAIR A DICE STABLES, DOES NOT HAVE A LICENSE!!! She's operating this facility illegally!
Janeen made the intelligent comment about, "I can't take any more renters because I don't have enough hay to feed them!" out of 18 stalls she had 9 that she was feeding hay to and about 4 tons +/- of hay!!!
There was a gentleman who was turned away because he wanted to board two horses and this was the reason why she could not accept these horses!
Janeen is so intelligent that she accepted two new horses from the NW part of Las Vegas while everyone else who is in lock down due to the EVH-1 virus outbreak but wait, Janeen puts these new horses in the main barn with all the boarders horses while Janeen's horses are down below away from harms way.
Janeen has so much faith in her son's abilities to care for these horses but this young know it all snot knows nothing about horses and could careless if they have food or water. When he feeds (which is a lot) only feeds hay, not the grain and forget about waters NO HORSE GETS WATER when Vincent Landram feeds! And if he is to clean up the aisle ways of horse manure, he dumps it in front of the barn so when you drive up that is the first thing you see is "HORSE SHIT" So by this appearance tells you that these people do not know nothing about horses or their care.
Janeen herself will dump the manure over the rails or on the back side of the stalls when she cleans which is about every 2 to 3 days unless animal control has been called out on her "facility" and the quality or should I say, lack of quality care of horses boarded there.
The only horses that are healthy are the one's that the owners self care for them or the owners supply so much grains/alfalfa cubes to make up for the lack of hay supplied by Janeen Landram. Janeen's idea of a horses weight is a horse with a waist!!! in other words, SUCKED IN from not getting properly fed!
On that note about supplying your own hay, Janeen still can not get it right and refuses to feed to the owners specifications or just doesn't feed the hay or grain because "it's too confusing!!" especially after 6 months at this facility with the SAME FEEDING regimen! Her son Vincent is just that intelligent to not understand to throw 2 flakes of hay to two horses morning and night and 1 bag of grain (pre-made by owner) to both horses once a day in the AM!!!
Janeen is a liar, thief and a bad business operator who has no clue as to the proper care or maintenance of horses should have.
Every person who came into Pair A Dice stables have left due to Janeen's and Vincent's lack of professionalism and knowledge and when their horses drop weight.
I don't know about you but I would NEVER want my horses cared for by someone who has NO CLUE and too smart to get help or the knowledge needed to feed their OWN horses nevertheless customers horses! |
