In July 2010 we were approach by Pageone to help us optimize our internet presence. Being one of two music stores in the area they said they wanted to work with us and were willing to do the job for $1000. We told them that at this time we weren't in a position to do it. Especially, since there was also going to be a $500 a month additional charge. Well, shortly after that Tony Rice approached us again and said because he liked our shop and us he would forgo the $500 a month charge and that one of his sales people had contacted the other music store and offered them the same deal so we needed to act fast. Well, of course we now had the fear that we would be over taken by our competitor so we borrowed the money. I was a little suspicious because of the tactics and consulted several people and was told that this could help us so we went for it. I did have Tony sign a contract in which he promises to deliver 40 videos that he said he would produce. About a month later he returned and asked us if we had pictures or video so we gave him some stuff we had but at that point I was already suspicious because nothing was happening. Anyway, long story short. We were told we needed to look at these pictures and label all of them. Well this was impossible because it was the busiest time of the year so my wife and I called Tony to ask him if he could make some videos pertaining to what was going on currently which was the rental season. We told him we could be available for shooting these videos at the store. Needless to say, we are approaching December and we still haven't seen one piece of work from these guys, only sarcastic and demeaning emails from Steve Garrett. I asked for my money back but I guess their 100% guarantee doesn't apply to us. |
