Our furnace was making strange noises so Oxford Heating and Air was sent to our home through AHS warranty. After they came out to service the furnace it stopped working. For the next three or four days in a row a technician would jump start the furnace, say it was fixed and leave. This was annoying. Eventually the furnaces' circuit board was fried so the machine wouldn't work at all. You'd think a company that prides itself on service would try to get a new board in a day or two considering there's an infant living in the house. Oh no, it took them a week! After a week the new circuit board arrived and was installed and it still didn't work. Oxford said they needed other parts. That was last Tuesday before Thanksgiving. This past Monday the wife called Oxford to find out when they would install the new parts. Oxford hadn't even ordered them yet. That was the final straw. Another company was called and wow I have heat again. I should count up all of the hours that I have missed from work to let your techs work on my furnace but I wont. |

I had a terrible experiance with Oxford Heating & Air with my A/C during a heat wave.
They were sent to me through American home shield, my warranty company.
They came out the first time and screwed my AC up worse than it was before they arrived. I told the rude repair man that it wasnt working before he left, he didnt care & left anyway, leaving us in 97 degree heat. Then they called and said they would be out a few days later from 11-3, I stayed home from work to be there, they never showed & never bothered to call & cancel. Never even apologized. Came out a third, fourth & finaly a 5th time. They charged both me & my warranty company a lot of money, and finaly on the fifth trip, they sent a nice kid out that found a very simple problem that the guy that come the first day caused. We had to spend money on repairs we didnt need. They also charged me an extra 3% charge for using my credit card. I wonder if the IRS know`s about That ????
They are a horrible company, and they dont care. AVOID THEM. |
