| Due to my age, I had to get rid of many horses I had had for years. I sold 8 to a really good home, but I GAVE 3 of them (2that were nearly 14 years old and very special to me) to Carol Hemme of St. James MO. She had only had them 4 days when I called her to say I had made a mistake and could I please have the 2 14 year olds back and I would reimburse her for any out of pocket expenses. She said no. I then offered her $900 if I could have the 2 back (she could keep the other horse) and she still said no even though she had not paid any money for them in the first place. Please everyone be sure to not have any horse dealings with Carol Hemme from St. James MO. She is a typical horse trader that cannot be trusted. I'm very sorry I ever got involved with her. |

| I have known carol for 11 years now and she loves animals. The reason she did not let her have the horses back is due to the living conditions of the pen they were being kept in. Carol told me and has pictures to prove the huge sharp rocks that was in the paddock with the two horses that are being spoke of here. The one was a stallion and the other one was a really nice gelding. The stallion would bite and force the gelding to try to get away from him and he would step on the rocks and stone bruise his feet and then be lame for a good spell. when carol got him home he had big bite marks on him from the stallion biting, he also had a hoof that was seriously damaged and numerpous stone bruses . she took him to the vet right after she got him and had him fixed . carol also had the stallion castrated and is having him broke so he can have a career as a riding horse and not just a stallion standing in a rock infested pen terrorizing his paddock buddy. I know this lady is mad but it was in the best interest of all involved that carol keep the horses . A horse could not ask for a better home than what carol will provide for them. She also has many, many references that will tell how happy they are with the horse they got from her. |

| Never ever buy a horse from Sherman Deach or Leigh Mathena from Roy Washington. They are liers, crooks and theives. My horse was represented as sound, gentle for a 72 year old woman to ride and " anyone can ride this horse" . He was permanently lame and bucked my husband off resulting in 3 broken ribs. It could have killed me at my age. If you see longshadowfarm or longshadow quarter horses and aussies, run away. |
