Made the mistake of buying Ford Escape from JoeCooper Ford in Yukon Ok and use their in housefinancing Oklahoma Motor Credit Union. When we recieved the warrenty information the expiring milage was less than what was already on the vehicle. We called them never heard anything. The vehicles transmission went out andwe called them and they told us thewarrenty expired two days before. So the vehicle had to set in the drive way because we didn't have the money for a new transmission. I'm a 100 % diabled veteran and my wife is on FMLA from an injury sustained at her work.
After long fighting with them Ryan an employee there talked to us and said he didn't want to lose our families business because my dad bought his explorer there my mom bought her Escape. He stated they would cover half the cost and carry the other half on a sidenote with no interest divided by the remaining number of payments on the vehicle so they would both be paid off at the same time. We agreed so we could get it fixed because we didn't have the money to do it unless it was this way. We were excited and happy because we could use it again. They required us to go through a specific garage which was fine. We had to pay to get it towed over there.
We spent half the month wondering where the vehicle was because the shop couldn't tell us where it was. We finally got a call last week the vehicle was there. We got another call today that the vehicle was completed. We where then told by Oklahoma Motor Credit that we needed to pay our $1600 part and when we questioned and told them what they started they said it wasn't so. When I asked for Ryan I was told that he no longer worked there. We'll he was there when the agreement was made and when it went in the shop. What can I do I can pay and now they are just going to take the vehicle and we are going to lose everything we paid in! |
