Ok this school is a scam i s because first of all when i went myself to inform myself about the classes i was pressured and since it was in such a rushed manner they also failed to notify me that if i have outstanding warrants that too would prevent me from working in the field. 'I felt like i was somekind of sale to help there quota of pay. Well when i find out about this close to ending my courses im left without a job and the only advice they can give me is silence, no one really helped me or would work with my situation. ok so I went for pharmacy tech and little do i find out that you dont need to go to this stupid school, that all you have to do is apply at this website http://www.tsbp.state.tx.us/index.htm they will intruct you to take some fingerprints($52) and once your record shows clear(texas only) then you must sign up for the state board test($159) and study the material that can be easily found at your local barnes an noble. SO that is like 159+52=211 plus maybe gas vs 8,000.00 plus im forced to get another job to cover my warrants and wait for almost two years(which by the way i had to go trough). Thats not the end of it, im a bit out of shape as far as the whole pharmacy knowledge deal so i go by there facilities and they are like we no longer offer that so we do not have anyone to tutor you, so yeah thats about it and i hear other of the friends i went too, this dental assistant including my sister were very dissatisfied and i have another friend that went for medical ass and she is very dissatisfied witht the pay , it is the same as a fulltime job at a call center. So don't let the commercials about changing your future and about great learning experiences fool you its all a load of crock they will just steal your money and not even put it into the school equipment because they suck, all the intruments and such. Your better off figuring out what you wanna do in the future learn what little you can in these nasty local colleges and then finish, go job hunting for something close to your dream because this technical schools need better educators which cost money which they are not convinced should be invested because they are to greedy. This goes out especially to my people down here at the valley. The instructors half ass it and even though you are in a small class they still find it hard to give us a good one on one education at some points when its needed! hope i can help somebody, because this is the ugly truth. |
