I have been a customer of Ocwen for 8 years now. I missed 2 payments early on in the mortgage and the nightmare began. I entered into a 18 month forbearance to catch up and this is where they changed my interest rate. My payment went from 860 to 1210 a month. I paid every payment at this amount. They reported me as 3 months late to Experian, Equifax and Trans Union the entire time. They made sure my credit rating was ruined so I can't refinance. I paid out of my forbearance early on to get back to my 860 payment. It never did go back to 860. I now pay 910. Every onth I have a charge for something or another. I just got under the amount I actually financed. I asked for the documents that have changed my interest rate and they won't send it to me. It's not in the documents I signed for the forbearance. I asked for the forbearance document they have and they won't send them. I can't talk to anyone in the USA. I've talked to many people who are having the same problem. When is this company going to be removed from business? I have seen a lawyer and he tells me it would cost me more to sue them. What can we do? Too many people are being hurt here.
