NOURSE DELARSHIP EXPERIENCE, CHILLICOTHE, OHIO I was having a difficult time finding a decent car with less than perfect credit, I didnt know where to go and who to trust, things like craigs list and auto trader seemed extreme. Being single for three years and divorced Im trying to put my life back together and get it on the right financial trace and repair credit from marriage. What had been a bad experience was turning more into a nightmare and more stress than I ever imagined. On 5/16/2011 I looked at Nourse auto dealership used vehicle website because they were local and I thought reputable, unlike most other companies which showed cars with prices they had 100s of vehicles and every one said at the bottom Call for price (This defeats the purpose of online shopping) There was a contact us comment page Si I left a comment that I had been shopping and needed a good car and have been having (bad experiences) and not showing prices was making it worse. So next day I received a call from Nourse Ken Kiser Internet sales, he said he read my message and wanted to help me find a car. So I agreed to let him help me I told him I already had received an approval from a secondary lending company for apx 5,000-6,000 at 500.00 down and a payment 200.00 or less a month I wanted to stay in that range. The next day he called and had a car for me with a primary lender approval and wanted me to come look at it, I agreed it was a 2008 Honda Civic we took it a drive it was very nice, then I asked the price he said he didnt know what it would sell for that it was up to what the lender would finance thats what they had to take, Ive never herd of that then I asked how much the payments would be and without hesitation he said 400.00 a month ! I said that was no were near what I told him or we talked about. I have friends driving 2011 models paying 350.00 or less, He said it was better than one of the used junkers So I told him again I have 500.00 down and want a payment 200.00 a month or less so he would probably have to start looking at showing me one of his others. So I said if he could follow what I asked and meet my needs and requests or I would need to move on to someone who could help me. He said let me work on it I said ok. But he would have to resort to a secondary lender with my credit, I told him again I was already approved through Nicholas Financial as I stated to begin with , so he said we could go through them, I called Nicholas and they said yes they worked with Nourse so I put the lender and the salesman in touch with each other. The next day the salesman called me again and said he had a 2004 kia spectra that met my needs the only difference was I needed an 800.00 down payment and not a 500.00 one, I told him I would have to wait until the 30th when I get paid again then, and he asked if I had checks that they could take 500.00 cash I had and a 300.00 check post dated to 31, then cash it. So I agreed to that and that evening I went in to see the car and he was not in and the car was not there, I asked another salesman and they called my salesman and he had driven the car home so no one else would buy it because he had other salesmen trying to sell it, I said ok and agreed to meet him the next day. The next day I went in to see him and the kia, He drew up all the papers agreed to everything we talked about and we signed some papers he handed me the keys, then we were to walk down to financial to finish up, one of the managers met us outside at the car which was washed cleaned gassed up and ready, and said if I didnt have 800.00 cash they couldnt sell me the car, I asked why he said that they had two other customers wanting the car that had the full 800.00 down payment in cash, I said that was crooked and wrong to do I was told 2 days prior I could pay cash and check since the down payment was more that I said I had from the start. I said I would seek legal action and talk to the local news about it so they said they would talk to the manager for me to wait inside. 15 minutes later the salesman came in and said it was ok the manager understood and their word was good so we walked 2 buildings down to financial. We arrived at financial and the guy working on the final process said he had a RED flag, the salesman asked what, then they called me over where they showed me a very generic computer screen that I couldnt read had black and red words on it, they said there may have been an odometer error like a roll back or something and they couldnt process it until that was corrected, if it had been rolled back then they could not sell me the car. They said it would take a day to find out they would have to let me know. I said ok doubting severely what was happening, so I called the next day there was no resolution., Later that day I missed a call and received a voice mail stating that there was a odometer rollback on that car and they could not sell it to me but the salesman said he received a 2005 pontiac Aztec that day on trade in and he would like to offer it to me and it was within what I was asking for. I called him back the next day to tell him if he works out the same price ranges like I asked that I would love the Aztec , he said ok that he would get to work on the financing, Later he called and said good news the financing is approved for 800 down and everything is set for me to get the Aztec. I called him told him I had to check finances because instead of 200.00 or less a month for the payment he said it was going to be 350 a month . later I called to tell him I worked it all out I finally got the 800.00 for down Payment, and I COULD DO THE MONTHLY PAYMENTS. He then replied Im sorry we sold that car, I asked him how when he left a message for me saying I was approved and what I needed to close the deal,. We had a verbal contract and I have it on voice mail, I told him I would seek legal help and he said ok. Robbie l . Martin
