The Notter School of Pastry Arts signed a contract with my company back in September of 2010 and we would provide Notter with leads of potential students in the area that wanted to attend the school. We started to provide leads to them in October and had no problem with the relationship. Based on my findings of their credit report, we had no choice but to not extend credit terms to them, and made them pay each month using a major credit card so we could charge them automatically. The months of October and November were paid with the Visa they supplied, then in December, the credit card had declined. I reached out instantly to Brittney Notter, the head of marketing and the individual that set up the account, and she was nowhere to be found. She eventually wrote me back saying she does not handle the bills, and that an Aimee Kilpatrick is the head bookkeeper and would be contacting me. The December invoice was $7,500. Aimee finally got back to me and said how she was ill and was out of the office. She told me that she had no idea that they were paying using a Visa card, and that she wanted to switch to ACH payments, which means we would electronically deduct the funds from the Notter School's bank account to ours. I sent the form the same day, and she replied the same day saying she needed the signature of Beverly or Brittney. So a week came and went, I contacted them again, no luck. The holidays came and went, still no word from Notter.
The new year came, I finally got Aimee on the phone, as I got her cell number from a previous e-mail. She told me that Beverly was out of the office and Brittney was in a meeting, but our ACH form was on the desk awaiting a signature, I said to myself that is a bunch of BS. Long story short, Aimee Kilpatrick, whom also owns her own bookkeeping business in Florida, which she is probably scamming her clients as well, was only is in the Notter office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. She is just as big of a thief as the rest of the Notter employees. I was told Brittney has NOTHING to do with paying bills or the school, well, I have played this game before and I will tell you this, Brittney signed my contract, so she must have some power at that scam of a business they operate. I called on a Friday morning for my last effort before sending to my collection agency, and I asked for Aimee, and BINGO, she picked up the phone. Was she shocked to hear who was on the other end of a phone, a rather angry New Yorker looking for $19,950.
She promised me that she would have a new credit card to me by day's end, I even said, listen, my company is willing to fly me down to Orlando to pick the check up personally, well as you can imagine, I never went to Orlando, and we got no new credit card or check. The account is with our collection agency as we speak, and they are blowing them off too. Well, Ill tell you this Notter School of Pastry Arts, your school, your business model, and anything you people stand for is crap. After reading how you won't pay your employees, and refund a student's tuition after getting hurt, and now not paying a vendor, I hope you get what is coming to you. I have personally bashed your school, Brittney Notter, Ewald Notter(head chef if that is what he really is, hes probably just another line cook at some burger shack in Florida), Beverly Karshner, and Aimee Kilpatrick. You all deserve a SHAME ON YOU!!! My company has also filed complaints and legal documents with the Florida Secretary of State, the BBB, and with our lawyer. So you think you might have won round 1 Notter, well buckle up, because you are NOT going to win round 2.
