Owners should entrust their property manager with more than just their physicalassets. Property managers handle, reserve funds, deposits, and write checks onthe owner’s behalf. To function properly, this relationship requires trust,transparency and accountability which I feel that Northwest Condominium Services in Shoreline WA owned by Duane Hoff does not provide to our condominium community. Reserve Studies "have not" been completed in a timely manner, owners have requested copies of annual community audits, monthly financials and there is always hesitation and resistance in forwardingthis imperative information. There is a significant problem when an associationhas $48, 000 in aged receivables .As you can see from some of the photos, thereis some serious lack of maintenance and this company does not adhere to theDeclarations/Bylaws and Rules/Regulations. There are inoperable cars,maintenance items that are not tended to which intern causes unnecessary largeassessments for us. For the last three years there has been no movement by theproperty manager to pass the new governed documents to position some of thefinancial responsibility to these owners for water damages that have occurred inside owners units instead of using large sums of our association monies topay for the damages. Is another owner in our community that is receiving large commissions on our master policy a conflict of interest?? You bet! If you are looking for the utmost professiona land ethical property management company, this is not the one for you. “Condo Owners should not have to hire attorneys and bear the expense to merely oversee and make sure financial documents and procedures are being done correctly bythe board of directors and the property management company" This is completely unacceptable and very disheartening:-( |
