No Problem Movers Scammers Frauds Moving Company. Many Victims! Mississauga/Toronto, Ontario |

This company is all frauds! They have been doing it for a while too. When we were moving our sisters furniture from her student residence thirty minutes away from our house we hired these frauds to move the furniture. First of all before they packed everything they asked my sister to immediately sign a contract. They told her it was solely to allow them to move her furniture from the apartment to their truck. Turns out this contract was also the receipt! There were several fields for the costs to add up to a total. Anyways, they only wrote down $55.00 under the headline (Moving Cost). They had then told her that she was only paying the one cost they wrote down $55.00. They did not mention any other costs and my sister was sure to ask them. Later on, they were writing down a $98.00 dollar cost onto the paper, when my sister asked what that was for they told her not to worry about it that it was not our cost or for us to pay. Things got the most suspicious when they arrived at our house as they would not unload the truck! Then they sat in the truck for a while discussing and decided to add to the already signed contract a sudden $550 total with no breakdown and the $55.00 was scratched and moved to a different field on the receipt. When they told us the total we were shocked as that was not the cost we agreed upon! They put my sister under the impression that it will be $55/hour and so with three hours of work the agreed upon cost was around $165.00. We tried to talk to their manager who also on the phone only mentioned the $55.00 cost but he was very skilled at playing ethical businessman who broke down to costs to us from the start. They are scammers! They are also used to it. It turned out there were other victims of this same company and they did the same thing to all of them! They hold on to your furniture and boxes in the truck until you pay. Thats because they know people try to resist the ridiculous price that was not agreed upon from the start. Moreover, when we asked to look at the contract we signed again they would not allow us! They said it was company policy not to allow us to take a look at the contract/receipt to find out what we are paying. We kept pushing until we saw and it was the most disturbing sight we have seen. The contract/receipt that was signed had went through some severe changes like a $55.00 cost to a $550 to move literally a few pieces of furniture (bed, desk and mattress) of a college student. NOTHING ELSE! On a thirty minute drive from her apartment to our house. When we refused to pay that amount because we realized their dirty game they decided to take off with the furniture and threatened to charge us extra storage costs as well. |
