I answered Amanda's Craigslist ad for 2 Lynx Point Siamese kittens for sale. Per the ad she had 1 male and 1 female. She said first come first serve. I drove a good distance to reach her home. Upon walking in the door I was overcome by the urine smell in her home. Dog and cats coming from all directions. As it turned out I never did see the lynx point kittens. There wasn't two like the ad said but 4 kittens she claimed to be purebred Siamese. I to asked about the father but she said she didn't have the male. She only had the mother which was a seal point siamese. The kittens were so tiny . She assured me the kittens were eating well. Dry food in the morning and dry mixed with wet in the evening. I know the kittens should have stayed with their mom until they were 8 wk old. Against my better judgement I selected a kitten. My kitten would not eat any kitten food. I softened the kitten food. I tried everything to get the poor little thing to eat. I called my vet on Friday 4/26 made a appt. My kitten weight was 13 ounces Not even a pound. My vet made suggestions on how to get my kitten to eat. My vet said the kitten is so young it only knows how to eat from it's mother. My kitten had it's first meal on Friday evening. And now is eating 3 meals a day and thriving. But I almost lost it. My vet was not happy with the breeder. Told me the kitten was weaned to early. The breeder also said the kitten was given Frontline. Frontline can't be given till 8 wks old. Once the kitten puts on some weight. We are starting from the beginning with the shots. My vet and I believe I was lied to. This lady and her husband are out the for money they make selling puppies and kittens that are not properly cared for.
