www.need4digital.com I ordered a $175 camera and was upgraded to $498 so I would have the necessary battery, memory card, charger, etc.. All of those upgrades were way overpriced, and included in the standard package. They lied about the need. battery that comes only lasts for 40 pics, do you want a better one? Want to be able to recharge it? Want to store more than 20 pictures? Over a month and I still have not received merchandise. This company is very dishonest. AVOID! |

I found N4DIGITAL on the Nextag website. I ordered a camera from them for 225.00. It was supposed to include free shipping and several free accessories. The next day I called to see when my order would be shipped. The representative first tried to sell me a battery charger, memory card etc. When I told him I already had those things he said, "well, the camera won't work unless you pay an additional $79.00 for the "firmware". I said well then just cancel the order. He immediately said, "OK, the order is cancelled, have anice day". I'm sure they have no intention of ever selling the productrs at the advertised prices. The whole operation is a scam. I'll bet they don't even stock any products. They probably have them drop shipped from another supplier to the suckers whole fall for the scam. I have reported them to Nextag and the Federal Trade Commisssion. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS! |

Just had an exactly same experience. I found their website through Nextag, which offered the best price- placed the order on their website, never got any confirmation on my order, so called the customer service. The person told me it was on back order, but they had just received the stock, sold me better battery and better memory card and extended warranty, because otherwise the camera would not work properly. I agreed on purchasing them, only to find out after that the total price increased so much more than the original. They never sent me any confirmation e-mail as requested. When I received the product the hardcopy receipt had additional shipping/ handling/ insurance, and still no break down of the item prices. When I contacted the customer service again, I had to put on hold for different people wasting my time. In addition, a couple of those customer service people were very rude, one person pretty much just hung up without even listening to me. I am going to report this company/ website to Better Busines Bureau, hoping no more people will get scammed by this company. |
