I ordered a 4.2L V6 engine for my 1997 Ford F150 pick up truck. Not only that the are the most expensive ones, but also they are the ones who know very well how to lie to you to get you to buy something they don't have to begin with. I paid about $1300 for the engine which is very expensive, but they told me that it had 78k miles on it which I found out later that it was a lie. The engine came on time, but it was a 3.8L Mustang engine which does not fit. I refused it because it was the wrong engine. The company contacted me and told me that the engine will fit and they will redeliver. The engine was picked up from a junk yard in NC not from their company in FL as I was told. It's very funny that I was told that the engine has been tested and in running conditions by the engineers who work for that company in FL, but guess what, the engine came out of a car that is in NC and never seen FL. I called them and asked them nicely to return the engine, but theyu told me that I will be charged for shipping, restocking feee, and handeling fee. That is about %50 of my money or even more. I had an option to give them back their engine and get a different engine from them, but I no longer trust this company. This company is made up of bunch of jerks who do not know what they are doing and they want to scam me. Are they crazy to think that I am goin to pay $1300 for a 3.8L engine that can picked up for $200 from any junk yard here? Making long story short, I couldn't communicate with their customer service because what I am saying is the truth and truth hurts sometimes. They started throwing false accusation against the shop I took my truck to have the engine installed in. It's so funny that they told me that my shop is gonna scam me to get me to buy an engine from them. In fact, my shop has been in business for over 60 years and the shop doesn't sell engines anyway. I took pictures of the engine and have a copy of all the emails they sent to me. All that will be provided to the investigator which my bank assigned to follow up the dispute I filed with them to get my money back, let alone that I have been without a truck for two weeks to find out after that that I have been ripped off by this fly by night company. Now they have 30 days to return my money, or else the bank will return it, and they have to come to court since I am filing a lawsuit against them. Be aware, and never ever order any thing from this company. They will rip you off. Thanks,

Got duped by SearchParts.com and it cost me $340.00 to return something i didn't even order. Bought a transmission and asked SPECIFICALLY to not be sent a junkyard donor part, but THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I RECEIVED. THEIR SALES STAFF SUCKS, HIS SUPERVISOR IS BELOW IMBECILE LEVEL AND PREPARE FOR A LOT OF ARM TWISTING IF YOU WANT SOMETHING BACK FROM THESE FLY-BY-NIGHT MORONS. PT BARNUM WOULD BE SO PROUD OF THIS COMPANY.

THE SHIPPING CHARGES THEY SUPPOSEDLY IMPOSED??? SHIPPING FROM WHERE, LEOMINSTER MASSACHUSETTS WHICH IS ONLY 55 MILES FROM MY SHIPPING ADDRESS. IF THAT COSTS $340 TO GET IT 110 MILES, I AM CERTAINLY IN THE WRONG BUSINESS. THE SALES REP HAD NOTHING TO SAY WHEN I CONFRONTED HIM WITH THE FACT THAT I HAD NOT RECEIVED A CALL FROM A FREIGHT COMPANY, IN FACT IT WAS FROM A JUNKYARD IN LEOMINSTER MASSACHUSETTS CALLED ET COTE'S. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE IDIOTS, YOU'LL PROBABLY REGRET IT AS I DO.

I came here to write a review on AES because unlike the customer before me I had a very positive experience. My ecm on my Ford Expedition went out and I spoke with a Parts Specialist named Jonathan who was very knowledgable about what options may be the best for me to take. I sent in my module and got it back in 3 business days but when I got it back my local Ford dealership they told me the module was no good. I called AES they had their technician named Chuck call my mechanic and troubleshoot the module. I sent the module back in to be checked out and they did and mailed it back. I took it back to the shop and they said that it still was the module. The technician recommended I try another mechanic and he was right. That dealership was just trying to get me to return the module and buy one from them. I am so glad AES was patient with me because they knew the module was good but they kept working with me until my vehicle was running. I filed a BBB complaint on the dealership for bad business. I learned one thing from this which is...never just assume that because it's a dealership that they know everything or have your best interest at heart. They were willing to lie about my parts being bad just to get my business and I don't do business with people and companies like that.
