I get calls from these scammers every day, sometimes 9 or more a day. I have told them hundreds of times never to call again. My number is on the National So-not-Call List, and they are using illegal machines, and breaking beween 4 and 6 laws every time the call. The calls always come from spoofed caller ID numbers, or lead back to a number claiming to remove from their list, which they do not do. Today (August 27, 2011) at 10:36 AM, I got yet a call using # 408-418-5531, from an illegal telemarketing machine (The same recording with the same voice I've heard a thousand times before) regarding a VA mortgage. I pressed one and gave a fake name and fake mortgave info to the scammer, who connected me with his "reprecentitive" The "representitive" gave the name Tommy Zwirecki, and the phone number 866-765-1834 Ext 225, and the company name as National Fidelity Mortgage. As usual, when I chewed him out and called him a liar and scamming thief and pointed hout his harrassment, he took offense. I called him back at the number he gave. He said he'd have the company remove my number (and, I called him a liar, and noted that I've heard that one a thousand times already but they keep calling), and that they would call me. These people are total crooks with no respect for the law. Do not do any business with them. Sue them, as I will be doing. And call your congressman and state Attorney General. They belong in prison.
