National Diabetes Association trying to get personal information, Internet |
6th of May, 2011 by User502433 |
Got 2 calls from these foreign people. They "sell" diabetes supplies but you have to give them your information such as social security which is the medicare number - they want to talk to the person who has diabetes and I said was the one the had to talk to. that is how I found out the want all you information. I suppose that will try to get you social, address and credit card information. Don't think it is a good idea to give it to some one who calls out of the blue. epically when both of them could not really speak English. I am not even sure the National Diabetes Association is real. Domain name registered Dec 2010. they don't answer there phones, there is no forum - dead link. |

THEY NOT FRAUD! you people just don't get it..they are not after your money or your S.S# it just so happened that medicare card number is the same..they are helping people with diabetes..Wake up! your not even giving time to speak and hear the reason why are they calling you!!! your telling them not to call BUT WHY? is it your not diabetic or what..? how can they take you off the list if they don't now the reason..come to think of that! PLS! and If they are Indians< Pakistan or Filipino so what..? If they can speak English why don't talk to them..or maybe there is something wrong With your EARS that is why you can't understand them! In fact they can speak your our language ..and how about you can you speak their language..well. 100% sure you can't ..go to their country and they'll laugh with your accent too..
and to those people that satisfied with their ..it's your choose..at least you gave them an open air.. |

I just received a totally scamming phone call from these National Diabetic Association people. They are calling from some foreign call center. When I asked politely to speak to the supervisor, the caller became hostile, and hung up on me. They have been harrassing my 87 year old friend, and she had to contact the attorney general's office. When she asked them to stop calling her, they began to call her 10 times a day.
I wonder if they are the ones who are posting these "positive" feedback posts on this site??? |

OF COURSE THEY ARE REAL, THIS IS THE WEBSITE, http://www.diabetes.org/. THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE MAKING THE PHONE CALLS, THEY ARE A VERY REPUTABLE ORGANIZATION! IT'S A GOOD IDEA NOT TO GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO ANYONE WHO CALLS YOU ON THE PHONE! EVEN IF YOU ARE ORDERING SOMETHING, THERE IS NOT NEED FOR THEM TO KNOW YOUR SOCAIL SECURITY NUMBER!=MUZZY |

The otherday I received 4 calls within 2 hours from NDA and then a 5th call where I once again informed them to not call again. I do not have medicare at all and have told them that as well. They call again and again for weeks and weeks. Just today they called not 5 minutes ago. I played sweet and listened and when I told this gentlemen that I did not have medicare they hung up. I would love for them to STOP calling. Anyone ideas? |
