The purpose of this posting to alert innocent buyers from making a huge mistake! What a horrible investment we made! Here are the facts about The Murano at Portofino: Constant construction! There is so much noise. The TALL TOWER, BEWARE!! There is CONSTRUCTION 365 DAYS A YEAR. AND, THERE IS NO SERVICE ELEVATOR! You have to share the elevator with the construction workers. It gets better, 1 out of 2 elevators break down every week, leaving 1 elevator. The building was built so cheap. You hear your neighbors above you, especially the tall tower: FLOOR PLAN: 02
LINE! They have recently sold these units WAY ABOVE market value and the real-estate agents are aware of the noise. They have a legal obligation to inform their clients AND THEY DO NOT. You find out after you move in. Sadly enough, it happened to us. We sold our unit and informed the listing agent of the noise issues and elevator problems and rest
assured, she DID NOT inform her client. The service in the building is HORRIBLE. The valet parkers do not speak English! The front desk manager has an attitude and they do not keep the place clean. There is NO HOT WATER IN THE EARLY AM OR LATE PM! Call it real-estate robbery! There are dogs barking outside along the marina 24/7 and you can hear them all day long. Aside from the jet ski noise and the barges getting stuck...there is a nice view. Hopefully, after you find your ear plugs, you can enjoy the view. More people will step forward and post their experience to spare the new comers. My wife insisted that we sell the unit and take a loss. So happy we have moved on to a solid condo building in Aventura! South
Beach is very over-ratedyou walk out your door and you have riffraff in your face constantly. Best of luck!
