On August-10, 2011 I saw a used car sales advertise on kijiji website (1995 Mercury Mystique LS Sedan), and it was done by Mr. Myron Gibbs. The advertise says "car is in magnificent" and etc. I called Mr. Myron Gibbs to buy the car, and he said car needs some repair. I asked for detailed inspection report about what needs to be fixed. I was given "Mechanical Fitness Assessment" report, and was told to call Mr. Victor (Alberta Auto Sales & Repairs). Mr. Victor said, he inspected the car and said two things need to be repaired: a) Steering Linkage b) Coil spring and will cost $525.00. I asked Mr. Victor if anything else needs to be fixed, and he only said two back tires need to replaced soon. I told Mr. Victor to fix those two things. On August-12, 2011 I visited Alberta Auto Sales & Repairs and Mr. Victor showed me the car and what he is fixing. During that time I noticed there is oil leakage from the car engine. I asked Mr. Victor why there is high level of oil leakage from the engine of the car, and his response was "there is no oil leakage from the car engine, but this oil leakage is seepage" (or not constant oil leakage). I accepted what Mr. Victor said because he is experienced professional and know this more than I do. On August-13, 2011 I officially signed the "Bill of Sale" and bought the car. Same day I filled up the car's oil tank to full capacity and drove it from "Alberta Auto Sales & Repairs". When I parked the car at home I noticed oil leakage from the engine and thought of oil seepage taking place through the engine. On August-14, 2011 I saw the oil leakage is continuous and taking place. I called Mr. Victor and Mr. Myron Gibbs and told them oil leakage is not seepage and it is continuous; but they are not willing to accept it. Mr. Victor told me to "bring the car to Alberta Auto Sales & Repairs to fix the car and to pay for it". I also looked in Kijiji website history and found Mr. Myron Gibbs is a car sales man from a used car dealership and sold other cars on Kijiji website before mine. Today, August-21, 2011, I went to Canadian Tire to find out about fixing this oil leakage from engine of the car. Canadian Tire gave me detailed information about the oil leakage from the engine of the car and it will cost me $1744.66 (more than the price I bought the car) to fix it; and the oil leakage is not "seepage" as I was told by Mr. Victor and Mr. Myron Gibbs. Everyday so many people gets "robbed" by sales people but no one is willing to solve this. How long do we have to suffer from sales people who are legally "robbing" us everyday? By the way I have all the papers (also text message by cellular phone with Mr. Myron Gibbs) from advertising from kijiji to up to date information from Canadian Tire. Thank you. |
