7th of Aug, 2011 by User100059 |
i recently purchased an mpc 1000 used thru ebay and when i received it i noticed some of the pads were bad so i emailed the seller letting him know of the issue. he fixed the problem right away by refunding me enough money for a used set of pads. so i looked around online and found mpcworld.com i purchased a 120 gb hard drive and a set of used mpc 1000 old style pads from them thru google checkout. The pads i purchased were defective and not "fully fuctional" like the merchant had said they would be so i returned them. now the merchant is refusing to refund my money and is lying saying i sent back different set of pads as an excuse to rip me off!!?? when i received the response email from mpcworld reguarding the bad order accusing me of fraud my jaw hit the floor!!! ive tried emailing google checkout about this but so far no help. i just purchased 128mb ram, 4gb flash card,a bunch of samples(thru ebay) and the 120 gb hard drive and the defective pads thru these shady b**tards ive spent alot of money upgrading my machine and i get ripped off, accused of being a theif, and lyed to. im so pissed!!!!!!!!! |

Also, when it comes to used parts it is very common for buyers to try and keep the good part and send their broken parts to the seller asking for a refund or exchange. This is something that happens everyday on ebay and the seller cant do anything about it because the buyer threatens to leave bad feedback. |

Scott you're absolutely correct... I used to sell Akai parts and every buyer claimed the part I sold them was broken and when I would agree to refund the money the buyer would send me their broken part instead of the good part that I sold them. Buyers have tried to do this for a long time and this is why most companies now do not accept returns on parts. I cant blame them for trying to protect themselves because this is the reason why I went out of business. |

I recently went through Mpcworld.com program to recycle damaged screens. I sent MPCWorld.com my old screen and $99.00 cash. I realized something was wrong with the amount of time that it take from the owner to get back to you thru email. I sent email after email checking on the status of my order. I had to finally threaten him/her with legal action to get a response. After waiting about 45 days I finally get my replacement screen in the mail and the wire is torn and th screen is completely blank. I contact the owner thru email with no avail. What ever you do. Do not give the company your money.

Are you by any chance affiliated with MPCStuff.com or MPC-Forums.com ???
They seem to like spreading lies about their competition on their forums.
MPC2000/XL screens sell for $365 and mpcworld.com offers them to buyers for $99.99 with a core exchange.
It appears that their competitors really do not like this, which would explain why they have a strong campaign to badmouth mpcworld.com. |
