| Rec'd Call that showed on ID as out of area # (no area code) 665-2131; Caller sounded as if they were calling from India. Claimed a government program allows negotiations with Lenders to permanently reduce your mortgage & interest by 30-60%. 100% guaranteed for a fee. Process takes 30-90 days from enrollment (after paying fee - amount of fee was not disclosed). After making inquiries about the company, was passed to another rep. who claimed company was Loan Modification Services based in Kingman Arizona. He attempted to obtain further information. After answering some generic questions and asking more, I was passed to third person who called the company Mortgage Payment Repair. I declined to give specific, further details and asked them to send information in writing by email. I am unsure at this time if the company is legitimate or not. |

I called them on Sunday and was transferred three times - all people spoke with East Indian accents - very hard to understand-. I asked them where they were located - the said Kingman, Arizona~~~ I declined to give them any personal information and hung up -

| I saw a commercial that said they help lenders with Hardhsip Modification program. They claim they can reduce your monthly mortgage payment and interest rate for a one time fee of 1, 995.00. They claim to be a company that's been in business for six years. When I asked them if they were accredited with the Better Business Bureau they said I can look at their website at www. mortgagepaymentrepayer.com. The lady sounds like she's from India. I asked them to send me paperwork through email so I can see what exactly I'm committing too but the don;'t offer it. Beware, this is a scam. I can't beleive that this type of scam would be advertised on TV. The number is 1-800-266-0320. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. |
