Just as the 80 year old gentleman that first reported this company, I am a 75 year old man that bought their lies too. They come on like gangbusters with a wiild sales pitch and will not let you say no, no matter how many times you try. When He told me I had to put up $6,000 for advertising I told him my wife would probably leave me. His answer was when she sees the commissions coming in won't she reconsider? The pitch guy just kept after me until I relented and put the $6,000 on my credit cards, that now I have to pay off without any sales of Mileage Maxx. It does not sell well, regardless of what they say. When my wife and I called them to try and reverse this wnole thing they told us no way and he bragged that Mileage Maxx sold several billion dollars in sales last year. I think that is just another lie, that they are so good at. When I have been in retail business before, I could go to a radio or TV station to place adds and they could tell me exactly when my ads were scheduled to run and how often. Then they would give me a price. If I used their facility to create the ad and used their own voice over personnel, all of that was included in the price quoted. With this outfit, they quote a price and it turns out that the price qouted is nothing but the ad creation. The individual still has to go back to them and arrange for the air time for the commercial created. Also, their price for creation is very high since they use file photos and pictures adding only a banner with my web site addesss and a voice-over talking about using my web site. Such a poor way to do business making their whole scheme a fraudulent scheme. If these people call you, hang up and save yourselves thousands of dollars, and if your elderly report them to your state's elder abuse legal services. |
