Molly's Puppies Sold me a very sick puppy Lauderhill, Florida |

I feel in love with an 11 week old morkie at Molly's Puppies. I felt so sorry for all the dogs there because I just thought they looked so sad to be locked up and confined. Now I know that they are sad because they are sick! I brought home my morkie on Friday, took him to the vet for a check up on Saturday(there vet, stupid me)and I was told he looks good. On the following Tuesday(3 days later) he was showing signs of kennel cough. Wednesday I took him back to the vet and sure enough he had kennel cough but his lungs "sounded good". If his lungs where ok and it wasn't that bad then why did he need 2 nights and 3 days of hospital stay to treat him? Finally took him home Friday afternoon with medication and thought he was much better because he was full of so much energy that he never showed before. The next day things started going down hill. He was showing signs of weakness, loss of appetite, and had diareah with blood in his stool. Couple days later no improvement so we decided to take him to a different vet (what a difference in service) and they ran there own test. They found he had 2 types of parasites, kennel cough still, low blood count, and was anemic. Really!!! The other vet didn't catch any of this!! I forgot to mention that I do not have any other pets and he has only been in the house( do to he doesn't have all his sets of vaccinations yet), so the only place he got so sick from was from the puppy store and where they get there puppies from. Bottom line....they sell sick dogs probably from puppy mills. So far his medical bills are more then the actual dog cost me, but we already love him and will do what it takes make him healthy( i would say again but I don't think he ever was). |

I have been looking for a puppy for my 3 year old daughter. we came accross Molly's Pupppies website on line. We drove 1 hour and 1/2 to go see the puppies. Our first impression of the place was not good at all. ALL the puppies there look sad and dirty. Their cages were covered in feces and urine and sadley the puppies were laying in it. It The whole place smelled like dog feces. Anyways we came accross a cocker spaniel puppy, My daughter fell in love with her. SHe had a slight cloudyness in her eye and owning cocker spaniels in the past we were concered she might have cateract. So we spoke with the sales guy and said we were interested in the puppy but we requested the puppy be seen by the vet before we baught her and i wanted proof written by the vet on the puppies recordsthat her eye along with everything else was ok. A week into this and no one calling me i followed up and the sales person said she was checked by thier vet and was fine "nothing wrong with her". I went that weekend to go picker up. She was so dirty and covered in feces. I asked the sales guy how often should she eat. He said they only feed thier puupies 2 times a day. morning and night. (Puppies should be fed 3-4 times a day). So we took the puppy home and noticed she was not eating much and was coughing. The next night her coughing got worse. I took her to my ER vet and they diagnosed her with full blown pneumonia. I paid $400 that night for the check up and they told me it was going to be between $900-$1050 to cure the puppy bc she was so bad. I called the puppy store owner while i was in fron of my vet and when i told her what was wrong with the puppy she quickly said I have to go bc theres something happeng in my home and said she would call me back in 2 min. I called her back 10 min later and about 20 time and she never answered me back.
I wish someone would close this place up and give these poor puppies a good home. This woman that ownes this facility should beinn jail for animal cruelty!!! |

I just had the SAME incident happen to my mother. I am calling the detectives for Lauderhill tomorrow. I don't think they have a state business license either because I can't find it online. The state puppy mill law needs to be enforced. I will also call the inspector that the owner said was in there today hours before we bought the very sick animal. The inspector should be fired and the shop shut down. Also her receipt was given to my mom on a sheet of paper so I will contact the IRS to see if they are reporting sales and paying taxes. |

Hercules is a 3 month old SHIH TZU MIX puppy that was purchased from MOLLY'S PUPPIES . When we went to pick him up we were told he was with their vet guillermo quintero DVM, at nob hill animal clinic being treated for a kennel cough with a nebulizer. We brought him to our Doctor as soon as we brought him home, he was diagnosed with kennel cough, which we were aware of, bu t nebulizer was not used and he was immediately put on antibiotics by my vet. He should have been on them from day one. Now he is diagnosed with coccidia which I am sure every puppy presently in MOLLY'S PUPPIES HAS!!! This was discovered after a fecal test was taken by our vet. On the official certificate of pet inspection their dr. did a flotation test which was negative but why WASN'T THE PROPER FECAL TEST TAKEN!!! I BELIEVE THAT THE DR. PROBABLY WAS AWARE THAT HERCULES HAD COCCOCIDIA and a flotation test would not show the parasitic disease. on the official certificate the Dr. wrote "albon for prevention"??????????Strange but that is what my vet is giving Hercules now...what a coincident!!! If u want to help me report their Dr. and MOLLY'S PUPPIES PLEASE EMAIL ME AT [email protected]

I am going through the same experience with Molly's Puppies. Molly's Puppies sell sick dogs. I took my dog to their vet at the nob hill clinic 3 days after I purchased her because of a hacking cough I hadn't noticed until I got her home. The vet did not really do anything " nothing wrong with this dog" prescribed antibotics and told me the cough should go away in a month. After the antibiotics were depleted it seems as though the cough had gotten worst than before. I decide to take my dog to a different vet. The new vet took one look at the dog and immediately wanted to do test to find out the true issue. They did blood test, xray and all the test need to find out what was wrong. We found out the dog had pneumonia in her left lung and would need to have an over night stay.My vet told me that the pet store owner should be notified because they may want to have the dog checked by their own vet. My vet would fax over any documents to show the dogs illness to anyone who needed them. I immediately called the owner of Molly's Puppies to explain the situation. She started asking me why I didn't take her back to her vet at nob hill as if I did something wrong. To make a long story short the owner of Molly's Puppies never returned my calls at all. I eventually had to pay for a week of hospital of well over $1000 and the bill are steadily increasing. I am looking into legal action to be taken. |

They are out of business. Cages are empty. A business owner in the plaza advised me that a puppy was hit by a car, that dogs have died from illnesses, and that the hispanic owners were so dispicably dysfunctional.apparently, after failed inspection, and impending investigations, the the slimy self serving owners packe up and fled .now if they were this egregious and dispicable in their treatment of the pups and blatent disregard for their health, and of their.intentional ripping off of consumers, we can only worry and ponder exactly where the remaining pups are. I surely.hope that some of the consumers and advocates from animal welfare societies will investigate this gross neglect and d shameful disregatd.and.most critically, .hold them accountable for these actions and force them to account for the remaining puppies. Thos is the type of suffering that puppy mill dogs endure, which is why it is so immoral and cruel to.engage in this type of transaction as it encourages the continuation of the profiteering off of these innocent beings.research puppy mills. Animal care advocates warn consumers of the sad cruelties that are perpetuated by humans who breed for profit. These pups are torn from their.mothers prematurely, in most cases the mothers are forced to breed continuously, .then drowned or killed. Terrible.and molkys puppies was without question one of the worst disgraceful shops iv ever seen.glad to see they went under. Now lets get authoritrs on their trail to force accountabiliy for wronging consumers and account for the remaining pups.awful. |
