This company/individual presented themselves as a "virtual" car dealer and was a friend of a trusted friend. After he took my money it took him 5 months to deliver a car that broke down within one week...I gave this person $5,000.00 to purchase a BMW since he said he could get it at the auction for that price. The money was exchanged in August with no problems, he called told me the amount and I transferred the money into his account. I was informed at that time that he had made the purchase and was driving the car as we spoke. I never saw the car until December! He told lie after lie about how he was getting this worked on and this fixed...then it just became lie after lie about how he was on his way to deliver the car but never manifested himself or the car. Needless to say all the supposed repairs he was doing on the car never actually happened and when he did finally deliver the car (5 months after taking my money) he didn't have the title only a bill of sale which he made himself. Ok so now the car is in my possession and the first day I drive it and get no more than a half mile from my house I'm forced to pull over b/c it will not go into third gear. Needless to say, the transmisison on the car is no good and needs to be replaced! The windows dont go up and down, there is only on windshield wiper, ther other is in the trunk!!! I asked for the title to be sent to me...again lie after lie about how it's on its way...but never materialized. I finally have contacted a lawyer and the DMV in GA and NC...the result...this fool took my money and before he delivered the car to me he went and got a title loan using the car as collateral!!! So now I'm stuck with a broke down BMW that has a lein against it (and they want $4,000 to release the title)!!! Did I say the car is a 1997???That would mean that I would have to pay another $4,000 for a car that doesnt even run???!!! I need to also mention he is not alone in his scam he does this with his cousin Darrell L Perry...beware...the outside may look good, but the inside is rotten!!!!
