I first was introduced to Michael Hood in late April/Early May of 2010. We were running a business opportunity campaign, which taught people how to email market. Being new to the high-risk credit card processing industry, we were searching for a consultant which would help us get placement, among other things. I was introduced to Michael by an account manager of mine, John who was also Michaels Partner. I hopped on a call with Michael, and I was immediately impressed. He seemed to know his stuff regarding the high risk industry. Michael assured multiple times that he would have a high-risk processing account up for my company within a few days. I told him that I did not have an extensive financial background, as well as next to no processing history. Michael reassured me that this was not an issue; Michael said he worked very closely with processors and we would be placed within days. He started his rates, which at the moment I currently could not afford. We communicated intermittently throughout the next day discussing the price. We finally came upon a set price, which was affordable for me, as well as reaped profits for Michael. We signed an agreement (which I have linked below), which guaranteed Michael would get us placed on a processor. During negotiations I had him add in exhibit C(guaranteed placement) just in case we could not get placed. During the first week Michael had me fill out a couple of questionnaires, however it did not seem like he was making much of an effort to get me placed. Michael would go MIA for days on end; I would be left bugging John regarding his whereabouts. Michael would come on and make excuses for why we were not placed yet, and then he would reassure me it would be in the upcoming days. To be honest I was not expecting him to get me placed within a couple of days, I knew there may be complications and it could possibly take longer. Michael continued to go MIA for days, if not weeks on end. I would attempt to call, text, email, and ping him on AOL Instant Messenger to no avail. He left John trying to make up excuses for his whereabouts, and lack of professionalism. Michael would pop in and out, make more excuses and false promises and then disappear. Michael completely disappeared roughly six months after the agreement was signed. About three weeks ago I reached out to someone I knew had done business with Michael in the past, within MINUTES Michael messaged me asking why I was messaging his friends. I told him I wanted my money refunded, and that he took money from me when I didnt have money for the taking. He instructed me to email him, and we would set a time to talk. I have emailed him repeatedly, with no answer. It is now almost a year later, and Michael has not kept his side of the agreement. Michael is one of the most dishonest and unprofessional people I have come around. http://www.filedropper.com/mc_1 |
