| They stole my money. |

| I was looking for loans online that I needed very badly. Finally a man named "Doug Alexander" called and said I was approved for a $7000 loan. At first he said "all you need is a car title, do you own a car?" I said yes and he asked, "is it newer than a 2008?" and my car is not so I said no. He then says "ok, we have a second option. You can put down 7 months of payments that will go directly to the principle of the loan and you won't have to pay anything until April of 2012". I started questioning him bc I was a little bit skeptical that it may be a scam. He convinced me by saying to print the contract and take it to a lawyer or a bank and they would tell me that it's legitimate, and that they have tons of good things written about them online. I somehow ended up falling for it and borrowed money from two different people to come up with $1068. He said to call him once I got to the Western Union, so I did and he told me all of the information to put on the form, sending the money to Barcelona, Spain.. and if he had told me that before I left the house with the money I think I would have thought it through a little more before sending my money to another country. But I was so eager to get the loan money I handed it right over to the lady. It was a Friday so he said I would get my money either Saturday or Monday. All through the weekend I thought about it more and more and got so scared that I was scammed. I even called "Doug" a couple of times asking him and begging him not to scam me. He laughed and said "if this were a scam would I be on the phone with you".. So I would rest easy for a while. Finally Monday comes and the money isn't in my account, so I call again and he tells me "its pending and will come through sometime today". About 2 hours later "the manager Jason" called and said that the insurance people reviewed my credit and since I was "so high risk" I would need to send another 7 months payments, and not have to pay anything for 14 months. OR I could cancel and get my money back in a month. This is when I broke out in tears, knowing that I had been ripped off. I have a one year old daughter, her birthday is coming up and I am so far behind on rent and bills... to have this happen is gut wrenching. My stomach hurts every time I think about it. These people are so evil and I hope they get thrown in prison for life. As I was crying on the phone I told him they should be very ashamed of themselves, and he responded that I should be ashamed of myself for not reading the contract. |

| I just went through the same experience, only I was out over $2, 000.00 and I had to borrow from my 401K. My daughter was going in for major surgery and this was to help with her bills. I feel like such an idiot. People like this are sick and take advantage of people in need. Now I have to pay back to my 401K and her hospital bills and medicine will continue to pile up. I really thought they were a legit company, Their contract looked legit. I am like you, I hope they rot in prision for what they are doing to people. All I wanted was for them to return my security deposit, they could keep the rest of their monies. |
