Meridian National Trust Loan Fraud Internet
25th of Aug, 2011 by User298484
I was contacted by Doug Alexander. He told me that I could recieve a loan for $5000. However, with my bad credit and lack of collateral, I was told I would need to make a collateral payment of $900. This would be my first four payments. The morning the loan was to hit my bank account I contacted Mr. Alexander. He told me everything had gone thru and I should recieve my money around noon. At noon, I was contacted by a Steve Cohen. Steve told me that the insurance company needed another $900 before they would release the loan. I had no way of coming up with these funds and was told I would recieve my original payment back in 4 weeks. I'm very discouraged to see the complaints on this site using the same exact names and events that I have gone thru. I contacted the New York Attorney General who has explained to me that I have lost my money and that there is basically nothing that can be done about.
