McMahon's RV McMahon's RV - Colton Gave run around - Didn't honor agreement Internet |

Last weekend we visited their Colton store and spent hours dealing with 4 different sales people (got the hand off several times). We found the coach that was going to work for us at a decent price (so we thought). They worked up the deal using my 2002 Holiday Rambler Atlantis but as an 03 (this would create a $5,000 difference). I told them several times that it was a 2002 and even showed them the registration but they insisted that it was okay. After more negotiating we shook hands and had a deal. The next day my wife and I went back with our trade that they wanted to see. They didn't even bother looking at it, they just wanted us to leave it so if we changed our mind we would have to drive back up there giving them another shot at us. This is when they told us about the $5,000 difference. We told them we weren't at fault and we wouldn't pay the difference. They said their "boss" would have to get involved but to leave our trade so they could get a wholesale person out to "get us a better deal". Another BS story. The next day they asked if they could submit for financing and they would "fight" for a cheaper rate. They said we would have a definite answer by noon on Monday. I waited until 1 pm to call them to which they told me they hadn't heard from the bank. I asked how could that be since they were supposed to call the bank ensuring that we would get a better interest rate. This was just another lie. I told them the deal was off and that I would be driving up to pick up my motorhome. Once there my motorhome was across the lot and NO ONE had come to look at it. The whole deal was a lie. These guys are shady. Don't bother looking here. They will screw you over. I read all the post but figured for everyone one bad there must be several good. Do you see any good post on these guys???? NOPE!!!! |
