MBP Heating and Air Performed service without permission/ harrassed and threatened me Fort Worth, Texas

The company co-owners, Steven and Raymond, were hired through a home warranty company. Raymond was dispatched to my home for an A/C Repair. He did not discuss the work with me, or offer me a price quote, so I felt safe to assume his work would be covered under my home warranty. He did not tell me until after the work was complete (10 minutes later) that this service was not covered, and proceeded to give me a very high bill. I was never given an option to refuse his services- which I absolutely would have done, had I been made aware of the price. When I explained this to him, and submitted my check for my home warranty service charge, he became very angry. I felt physically threatened by his demeanor. He snatched the check out of my hand and left my property. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my own home. I called my home warranty company to complain, and they explained that I was within my rights, but that they were not going to get involved. I hired another company to come out and give me a second opinion. They were shocked at the high price I was quoted for the amount of work done. They also explained that Raymond did not fix the A/C problem after all, and said that I would continue to have issues. I called MBP Heating and Air to make a complaint to the owner, and spoke to Steven. He was rude and disrespectful to me on the phone as well. He told me that Raymond HAD quoted a price to me ahead of time. So, it became my word against his. After talking to Steven, my phone immediately rang with a threatening call from Raymond. He began yelling at me, that I should not contact his business further, and that he did NOT threaten me. I did not respond to this, and hung up the phone. I want others to be aware of the harrassment and unethical business practice this company represents, so that they will not have the same bad experience.
