I received a letter from Maxwell Gates with an offer to stuff envelopes. I paid the one time application fee, a money order of $199.00 and sent it via overnight night mail to Maxwell Gates in Mendham, NJ. I sent the money order on June 29, 2011. I have not received the letters or the envelopes as of July 7, 2011 although the letter indicated all materials would be sent to me immediately.

| I just received a letter from Maxwell Gates today. I also am in need of employment. I have been burnt before by these work-at-home scams. I'm glad I checked this guy out before I sent him any money. He has numerous lawsuits for fraud against him. |

| Thank You for your warnings, I get $284.00 a month from Social Sercurity and I so despertly need to earn more money but I can'y afford for anyone to just take my money and I was ready to try this envelope stuffing business. |

People:Why can't we use a credit card?
Why is there no phone number?
Why would you pay for something unknown?
What guarantee insures you of a refund?Says who?
Gates is well known as a scammer.The BBB has him on file.
The Mendham Police have him on file.
Do you know a lawyer?Ask his/her opinion.
He wants a fee matching the income group, to prove your serious?
Once you send a money order, cash(thru the mail)?or a check, kiss the $$ goodbye before
you lick the stamp..
Copy the info he sent you, put your name etc.on it, and see how you do when the
monies roll in.Just keep moving with new mailing addresses. |

| the modus operandi of maxwell gate enterprises must be investigated. i think it has victimized a lot of people who are in desperate need of jobs. the address is 88 E Main St.suite H#433 Mendham, NJ 07945. |

I am tired of this scams!...Is there a real one? Can anybody recommend a good company that doesn't rip off honest people like me that just want to make extra money and work for it? Please! somebody help...

I got the same letter in the mail from Maxwell Gates Inc! They want 199 up front and they will send you the material needed... Then they say they will refund that 199 fee in your 9th paycheck, so if that's true why ask for money up front? Why can't they just send us the envelopes up front then take the fee out of our 1st paycheck! Cause it's a SCAM!!! There's no phone number for us to contact this company... If this was a real business they would have a customer service number to call... People say its not a scam and they get checks weekly, if that's the case then give us a phone number so we can call for ourselves... Post your pay stub just black out your personal information... Don't trust Maxwell Gates they are rated a F with the BBB and have multiple law suites against them for frauding honest people like us...

| ya i sent them a check and then last week i got a letter saying that my check was no good even though when i called my bank the money was in my account. and they said there giving me 14 days to give them 104 for that or there going to let the police handle it but after looking the company up i found out that its nothing but a scam so i call the cops and he told me not to worry bout it cause hes be reported as a scam and has a F rading from the BBB.wow here i am a mother of 2 kids and just found out my 1 year old has liver cancer so the cop told me to change my bank account asp. THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT FAKE AND A BIG SCAM. |
