| When I first joined this service I was told that there were over a thousand active members, in which, most of them were women. I sat in Maureen's office for over an hour dicussing what I was looking for, Petite, athletic, and average, plus what I am looking for in a woman. I also made it clear that she should be no taller than 5 feet 5 inches and not be a smoke and no more than a social drinker. The rest was just like any other guy, I love to do just about anything. My background is from an affluent family. I am well educated. My salary is over 150,000 a year, I am well traveled, and I am at a good weight and am a decent looking guy. What I lack is height at 5'7". Maureen assured me that that is not what the women are looking for (I know the truth). I trusted her and gave a thousand dollars. I was so excited to finding the right woman. Then reality came. Weeks and then Months- nothing. Even after I called several times and sent several emails. I was told, I was told there is no match for me. Next, I was given a choice that absolutely did not match what we discussed, her being a heavy smoker, living close to 2 1/2 hours of driving time, and was 5' 9"s. The second choice also was not what we discussed in my profile with you. The third choice, which was a normal average woman, I fealt great that finally I can say yes, even though she lived 40 miles away from me, then never heard from her again, which when I called I found out she said no. I was never sent a formal email or response. So with over a thousand members, you can't find me one choice and the first two were just thrown in as a filler, because like I said, they were not what we discussed in my profile. Now I am angry, and also feel bad trying to find someone nice. I am requested my money back and part ways. She said no-way.I feel that Maureen took my money and told me what I wanted to hear in order for me to become a member. I am sure I am right about this- A thousand members and really, not one possibe choice when I am a new member~ Last she claims that sometimes I will receive three choices in one day because there are soooooooooooo many similar women? It doesn't make sense. It's Christmas, and not one legit date. I have pics and and a lot of email correspondance and excuses for anyone to see if they email me at . |

| You joined a company that gave you three dates and you admit being only 5'7". Why are you blaming this matchmaker. It sounds like she did the best she could. If you admit knowing that it is hard to find a girl that is willing to date a short guy, it sounds like you are really mad at yourself and taking it out on a matchmaker. You need to find a girl who likes short guys. That's probably why you went to a matchmaker in the first place. If you can't do it on your own, why get mad at a matchmaker for not being able to do it. They aren't magicians. You also sound like a negative person, if you are writing this report. Maybe that's also why the program didn't work for you? Something to think about. |

Her staff was amazing and has been very helpful in my life. I was checking out a construction company and wanted to write a review as well. | MTNPM is a despicable "service" . It is a complete misrepresentation. They claim to know thier clients - they do not. They claim to match based upon characteristics, profile - they do not. They claim to take great care in making the suggested matches, - they do not. My experience included being told they sent matches that they did not send, being sent potential matches who were absolutely wrong for me and who I was, being sent matches that had already been proposed and were not interested in me, and Maureen herself said she would "manage "me personnaly so that i would be taken care of - she did not. It is just a shame that they get away with it. |

| I met my wife from Maureen Tara Nelson. Before Maureen's service, I had women throwing themselves at me just because I'm a doctor. Maureen was not only very professional, but a very kind, easy going, and funny person. I got to know her very well, as she does with all of her clients. I do not envy her though. Her job as a matchmaker is much harder than it looks. She never complaines, and always has a smile on her face. I don't know how she does it, but luckily for me, she puts up with all the women who are unrealistic. I know, I met some of them. But after only three months, Maureen matched me up with the most beautiful woman in NY. I could have never found her on my own since I work all the time. | I am an attorney and also a recent success story of Maureen Tara Nelson Private Matchmaking. I saw these complaints from a while back and after investigating every other service in NY, I chose Maureen's because out of everyone, she has the fewest complaints, has the most experience, and has the most success stories. When you go into her office, as I did, you see all the success stories on her walls. I went into other matchmaking services and saw none of these positive stories. What I found with the others was either a pushy sales rep, or a company that didn't offer half of what Maureen's program does at triple the price. An intellegent person will realize that being in business for over 12 years you can't make everyone happy, even Maureen who tries to do so, I am fortunate that I didn't let someone's negative words stop me from finding my wife through Maureen Tara Nelson. People, there are no guarantees that just because you give a matchmaker money that you will be successful. As an attorney, I read Maureen's contract, no were does it guarantee you will get married. I can promise you, if you follow the program as I did, the program is great and much better than anyother service in NY at a fraction of the cost. Keep in mind, if someone is complaining about this service, it is most likely their fault that they are not successful. Unfortunately in my business there is a lot of competition and some of them not very ethical. There are three false comments here, from Fluker, September, and Chris804 that are not clients of mine.
