matchmaker.com misleading, incorrect matching, scammers using site, unable to get refund Drums, Pennsylvania

I have had problems from the start with matchmaker.com. They constantly get the matching of profiles wrong when they send you a "match" according to what matches your profile and what you are looking for. I have been contacted by those pretending to be someone they are not. They turn out to be looking to get money from those they have made known they are "interested in" This has been reported to the site support. They send back a prepared form response, but do not take care of the problem. There are individuals using different names/accounts and pictures (not truly theirs). They are in fact the same person. I have come across this 3 times, and when I responded to the person to confirm that they were indeed the same person, they admitted it. I again reported this to support. There answer is to "block" the person. This not the answer. There is no way of knowing by the account name that you are dealing with the same individual. The photos are always different. I keep reporting mis-matches to the administrators. Their answer is always to add more to my profile or change it. In other words "lie". They do not admit their program they use is full of errors in matching. They will not refund your money. I have received notices from matchmaker.com that there is someone interested in me or has been matched, only to find out the account no longer exists. I have reported this to them. They have a prepared form that simply says when people find someone they remove their profile. This would be true, but the notice I received of an interest or match was only a few minutes old. This site is a waste of money and not a safe place to be...a scam.
