I am a mystery shopper. I work for several companies in the industry. MarketForce is by far the worst. Here is my story: I was hired for an assignment involving a specific department at a specific location inside a store. I visited this store at the correct location and I visited the correct department. All of this information was included in my assignment, and I followed the directions perfectly. I completed the assignment and uploaded my work to their database. Two days later I was notified via e-mail that I would not be paid for this assignment. It seemed like an automatic e-mail and there was no human being behind it. In the e-mail, it stated the reason for the non-payment was due to visiting the wrong department. I know for a fact that I visited the right department. I reviewed a copy of the information given to me for the assignment and it says the department in BOLD LETTERS. I scanned this form and attached it to an e-mail that I sent to Market Force. I have yet to receive a response from anyone affiliated with Market Force. To this day I was not paid for the assignment that I successfully completed for Market Force. I am extremely disappointed in this company and I would recommend that they be avoided at all costs. Please do not make the mistake I did. This company does not deserve their employees. If you represent Market Force and you're reading this, then you need to get your act together. If you continue to conduct business this way, you will be shut down by the BBB. If you want the truth? I've never worked for a worse company, and it's a shame because Market Force dominates the industry. |

I worked for Market Force, too. Everything was fine in the beginning but that quickly changed after about 4-5 months. I started slowly then one employee contacted me for assignments to be completed. She told me to call her any time I found an assignment and she would set it up. I was making at first what they were offering and I thought it was not enough for what I was doing. I started gaining alot of weight from the fast food shops. Then I started to do other assignments. I live in Southeastern CT and started traveling to Rhode Island, Massachuettes and the other parts of CT. I was getting paid a pretty penny for about a month. I was loving it. $65.00 or more a shop for shops I had to travel far for.And when you take on 4 or more shops at a time it adds up. One day I made over $400. I thought my dreams came true. I made more in 4 days than what some people make in a week. I made over $1950.00 in 4 days. After this the woman I thought was nice started writing negative things in the computer system under my file. She was saying I was asking to much for shops. Then after I submitted paperwork for one shop I did get paid for this shop. I believe they said to throw away the paperwork after 3 months even if you did or did not get paid. I threw away paperwork like I was told too. Then they asked for the paperwork after the work was done 4 months later. They said I could not work for them anymore until I turned in this paperwork even though I provided them the papers months ago. I knew it was all a lie and they just did not want to pay me anymore for the prices they were paying me in the end. I just wish it could have been a perminate job with high paying shops. It was fun. |
