After a half hour on the phone Rheem agreed to replace the heater under warranty I was told to contact their distributor. I did and was informed that the new heater will cost me $110.00. I called them back and they said that they have no control over their distributors and basically to pound salt.

So I supposedly bought the best...it lasted only four years and now I have to pay 110 to get a new heater and 325 to have it installed....what a scam.
