Manhattan VIP Limo |
Worst welcome ever!! |

Often over for business, I this time went for pleasure and brought my two best friends for their first time in the US and wanted to give them the treat of some VIP services. This however turned out to be more of a nightmare than pleasure, I think they should rename the services to Manhattan NOTVIP Limo.
These are the reasons;
1 - The driver was late, I had to call you to find him, he then sneaked in looking like he had been standing there for hours..
2 - He didn't touch our luggage, we had to carry ourselves
3 - The car wasn't waiting outside the airport, we had to walk to the back of a parking lot to an open space behind it
4 - It wasn't the car I ordered, I would much have preferred the classic limo than the monster truck limo the driver came with, very proud of upgrading us
5 - The limo wasn't pre-air conditioned, it was probably 90 degrees in the limo. We were all soaking after 10 minutes drive.
6 - No champagne that I asked for in the order (however not charged, I missed this as I confirmed the payment)
7 - Nice to have an "open bar" but I wouldn't touch any of the drinks seeing the dust on the alcohol bottles, soft drinks were as hot as the car and we could only dream of any ice.
8 - I was trying to ask the driver but he was on the phone with a friend; PS - not very nice hearing him state "oh you know, same s#!t, another day" to his friend... Thanks for the compliment!
9 - Driving the express way somewhere between 70 - 90 miles per hour is not what I call a pleasure trip, we were literally flying around in the back, no way to tell the driver as he was still on the phone with his pal.
10 - I don't know how long you have to live in New York to know how to get around but after having been told off by the police because he took a wrong turn, the driver actually had to call the hotel to find 77 and Broadway. 2 days in town and my friend knew how to find it! |
