| MallEast.com is a very professional and legitimate looking website. They sell computers, cameras, sports equipment, etc. at unusually low prices (first clue to the scam). Eventually you will find that they are based in China. The site allows you to place an order and even communicate live on-line with a person. Everything seems normal until you get to the payment step. There are only 2 options - Western Union or wire transfer. When you inquire on-line, they person either recommends that you use Western Union or they give you the bank wire transfer information. The wire transfer information includes Bank of China in Hubei, an account number and a fake branch address. Once they receive your payments, then all communications stop and maybe even your registered login is no longer valid. Don't even think of submitting your payment. You'll never hear from them again. |

Absolutely correct, i have had the same problems and even paid for delivery. Every thing looked normal until it came to payment. Like a fool i carried on and paid over £656. They answer mails before payment but once received no reply to several mails.
They even show that they have sent and delivered the item.
which has never arrived and is not likely to. I feel realy bad, however expensive lesson learnt. |

| Malleast.com is stil in operation and continues to rob people of their money. I have reported them to many agencies but it doesn't seem to stop them. Again, don't ever sent Malleast.com any money via wire transfer or Western Union. You will never hear from them again!!! |

I think it is the same owner based in Hubei. I payed with MoneyGram and they took my $350 USD for 3 ipod nano's and did not send. I repeat, Mall Sale is a scam. |

Here was an email reply from Malleast.com after I placed an order with them. These were the instructions to wire transfer money. FYI, the address provided for the Bank of China branch in Hubei is non-existent, which should be anyone's first check before sending any money.

| I have checked and confirmed that the wire transfer instructions for BOTH scams, mall-sale.com and malleast.com have the same account number with Bank of China (acct # 46413-01018-8018-2822), This absolutely confirms that they are the same people ripping off unsuspecting internet consumers. Again, DO NOT send them any money!!! I don't know it any can trace them via this account number. Maybe someone who is reading this can forward this info to the police and crime departments in China to catch them. |
