I placed an order on 4/10/13 on the goflorist.com website for a bouquet for my mothers birthday. The confirmation email I received stated that the order total was $33. On 4/11/13 I noted that there was a charge of $56 to my credit card from TLF FLORIST MAIN STREET, I immediately called to find out why the charge was for so much as I had not received any communication that the price would be increased. I got an answering service as it was apparently "after hours" even though on their website it says they're available 24 hrs/day. I left a message disputing the charge & asked for a call back because I cannot afford to pay that much. On the morning of 4/12/13 I received an email from Main St. Flower Shop ( : We may increase your order by $5.99 if required, or we may increase your order to DELUXE SIZE AND PRICE. By your continuing this order we have your authorization, permission, and approval to increase your flower or gift order by $5.99 or to DELUXE SIZE AND PRICE. By continuing this order we have your authorization, approval and permission to increase the flower order to DELUXE SIZE AND PRICE and agree to the terms and conditions. I immediately called to cancel the order (10:00am - during normal business hours) & got the answering service again. I left a message explaining the situation & asked for a call back. I called the order line & a man said he would call the customer service line & have them call me back. No return call, I called at 12:00pm, got the answering service again & left another message. At 1:00 I called again & reached an actual customer service representative and indicated that I was extremely unhappy as they over charged me and they spelled my mothers' name wrong. I also noted the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on their website. She said the order had already been delivered and the only way to refund it was to go and pick up the order. I said that was a horrible thing to do. I called my mom, nothing had been delivered. I called the business back, left another message because I couldn't get through to customer service. The flowers were finally delivered about 3 hours after I was told that they had been delivered. I called customer service again and again got the answering service so I left another message! Finally, the following Monday I called and reached customer service and they said that there is nothing they can do because the flowers had already been delivered and it didn't matter if I was unhappy with them or the price. They also tried to tell me that they had no record of me saying I wanted a refund on any of my preious calls. So I am out $56 for a mediocre bouquet when the order confirmation said $33 and haven't even received so much as an apology! Stay away from this company, they are excellent scam artists and WILL take your money if you give them the chance. |
