Lorenz High School |
Lorenz High School online filled my mind with false hopes and stole my money Internet, Internet |

I dropped out of school at 16 and last year I felt it was time to go back and get a GED or a diploma. When I found Lorenz High School online it seemed like a dream..all I had to do was pay some money and take the test online as many times as I needed and I would get my high school diploma when I passed the test. This seemed perfect and too good to be true since I work 60+ hours a week and have a family to take care of. The people did sound a little shady over the phone but they talked a good game and I was kinda desperate to have this so I could say "yes,I finished high school". I took this phony test in June 2010 so this whole time I have been thinking that I got a good diploma and accomplished one more goal in my life.... until this week. My wife and I decided that we want to go to college so we went and found a college. We were so excited to start on this path that would better our lives and our 3 kids' lives until I showed them the transcript that I ordered from Lorenz High School 2 weeks ago (which cost $50.00) and the admissions counselor had to crush my dream. Or I should say that Lorenz High School crushed my dream! The college told me that they dont accept it because of accredidation and the fact that they can never get ahold of anyone to answer any questions. So, Lorenz got about $300.00 out of me and has greatly delayed my dream of starting college for now. I learned that if it looks and sounds too good to be true, chances are, it most likely is. And on one good note, the college I wanted to start is letting me borrow their GED prep books so I can get ready to take the FL state GED test. |

I am sorry but this report sounds like a story. You should consider writing fiction, start with short stories like this one. Apart from the literary qualities of your post, I don’t think any of this actually happened to you. Lorenz is an accredited online school, and your complaint is just too phony to be true. |

Admission into a college does not depend totally on your high school diploma. Colleges consider many other things when evaluating an admission. May be you did not get admission for some reason other than your high school diploma. |

Funny, I got my diploma from the same school and got into college (even though it is community college, but still). If you just want your money back then you should talk to school. But seriously posting wrong stories about someone to blackmail them into paying you back is actually criminal and very wrong. |

Posting false scam reports to pressurize businesses into paying is so common but it actually never works. If you want to resolve a issue with a business the proper channel is to communicate with them. When this fails then you can try other channels. |

Your complaint does sound like a story. |
