Listia is a scam. They let you get a lot of credits and then they suspend your account. I would like to sue them. I had listed auctions up there to try to give my things away that I didn't use anymore. Then I had to tell people to request a refund on credits, which some did and then some reported me to Listia (because they thought I was scamming them, but I wasn't....I don't do that). They keep suspending my account for no reason and they say the reason they are doing that is to protect people. They are supposed to be there for support and not go around suspending innocent people's accounts. I think they need to lay off. Then to get more credits instantly you have to buy them and if you don't use some of them and want to return them (you can't)......they won't refund your money. Listia is a joke. I had over 3000 credits in my account and I got suspended because I told people to ask for a refund on credits and then they reported me.

| I can say that I agree to some extent. I discovered many people are mean spirited, they seem to think that because they joined first, they rule the world if Listia. I won an acution only to have Listia, claim that it violated one of their generalized rule. ( About expirable products, they let make-up through along with some food stuffs.) But somehow perfumed lotion is a violation a bottle of juice or make-up that is more then two years old is O.K? Please the site is set up to fail. The iPhone application dose not work like the site there are all kinds of issues. Think I will go hang out with Lockerz.com better benefits. Easy to maneuver. Free junk? I'm off to place it on eBay or another auction site. Trust me, my junk is worth Money! |

I think I am currently about to get scammed on Listia. I sent out an item that I had put up for auction and less than 1 week after sending it via USPS I had the lady emailing me asking where her package was and that Listia was telling her she had to request a refund. I explained to her that it had been sent and she needed to give it time to get to her, so she agreed to give it longer and was suddenly very nice. Within about 2 days she was back to flipping out saying I didn't send her the item and that she was going to request a refund. I told her I would be more than happy to fill out a tracer request form and she suddenly went back to being nice and saying that she wasn't accusing me of not sending the item (when actually DID say that.. specifically!). One minute she is all about saying she is requesting a refund but the minute I say anything about when I sent the item or getting proof it was sent she turns all fuzzy wuzzy on me.
From now on I will be adding delivery confirmation to every single package I send out. I refuse to let another person try and scam me out of credits. (Esp in this case when the item was something I paid a good bit of money for to begin with!) |

people who are curious on shipping address verification thing, please read here.
many people ask, if 2 people have same shipping address, but if different names on receiver, would listia ban people right?
many people did not understand and are asking around I saw, NOW I AM ANSWERING YOU

Listia would really suspend 2 listia.com existing members just because one listia member use the same shipping address
2 Listia members use same street name same number on shipping address
even if you are 20 or 25 yr member in listia, the same result with me 100% for sure.
Listia is a fuckoff page not only ripoff or scam page.
